You can't connect your tablet to your tv
Without having some type of cables

Chromecast should work from what I heard

Samsung also sells a wireless method for their tablets and a wired but the wired is very unfriendly

I'd say Chromecast is indeed the easiest way to go for this.
As others say, there are wired sollutions, but they're not very practical.

Ya I wonder if I'd be able to use Chrome cast for displaying my tablet screen to my tv screen.

Chromecast and Roku both have Apps to allow it. Roku actually has a few to choose from.

Sorry, I don't have a solution for you OP.

However for people with a Roku, I did figure out a kind of awesome and simple way to do this:

If you install Firefox onto your tablet as well as install the Firefox Roku channel you can stream any HTML5 video on the internet from your tablet to your tv. It's pretty beta tech though, so it can bug out sometimes. Also you can't fast forward or rewind.

As others have mentioned, there are different devices which allow you to share your screen on your TV. The other option is the Amazon Fire TV or TV Stick with the Fire TV App on the tablet. I have a Kindle Fire which I can easily share the screen onto my TV using the app. There are options to do it with my android cell phone device as well, though I haven't tried that one yet.
