Hm, the best way of describing it is illustrative - works from Aaron Jasinski and Range Murata tend to carry a heavy appeal with me. Then again I do like some more realistic leaning as well like works from Luis Royo.

I love art from the Renaissance period and older, whether it be Oriental art like Chinese/Japanese manuscripts or pottery, to stuff like the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, or the statue of Augustus

M. C. Escher is my hero.

I like most art, though. I have a particular affinity for geometric influences, surrealism, and atmospheric horror.

All forms of Christian art except for modern pieces. I like Dali's religious works but that's about it.
I love Byzantine iconography and the religious pieces of the baroque period

I don't think there's a particular style that i prefer over others but things that i appreciate a butt-ton are:
Symmetry
Crowding (i don't know a better word for it, but just anything that has a gratuitous volume of details/characters or very little empty space)
Foreshortening
