Well I met my first true love when I was about 12 years old. People judged me, but our love was something no one else could understand. It was passionate, intense, and so fulfilling. I thought I would love my right hand forever... but then I met her sister... my left hand. Ever since I have been involved in a vicious love triangle, but there is hope on the horizon. I think they have finally started to accept each other and I will cement a mini-harem.

Fell in love with a girl in 7th grade. She was perfect. We became really close, our personalities matched up.

Asked her out at the end of the year. Got turned down.

- place awkward relationship here -

Recovered the relationship, we went back to being friends and graduated middle school.

During the summer break she asked me on a date. Of course I was on vacation with my family. We talked when we could, we talked about deeper things than usual. (mind you, this is when texting was at its beginning and cellphones had no signal in the mountains.)

I came back from vacation, went on that date, we talked every day, saw each other over the summer often, it was looking real good for me. Right before our high school careers started I asked her out again, I got shot down for the second time. What a great way to start high school.

Ended up having an unrequited love towards her from 7th to 12th grade. After I entered high school I became a huge shut in and never really talked or hung out with her after that except for occasional conversations here and there. Never gave it another chance, but there was never a girl that I liked as much as her; even now.

I was a pretty socially awkward kid, I basically had no idea how to social. When I was 16 I met a girl in my art class. We got along absolutely wonderfully. It was very strange for me to meet another person who I could talk so easily with. We started to hang out more and more often.

My best friend at the time was a strange fellow, he was a 'big fish in a small pond' kind of guy. The most popular of the outcasts and did fairly well with the outcast ladies. One Saturday night he held a house party at his place where most of our 'crew' attended. Me and my budding lady friend spent the whole party together and she taught me to slow dance and we talked until we were the last two at the party, other than my best friend. After she had to go home and I spent the next short while talking to my friend about dating. He asked me if I was going to ask my lady friend if she'd date me and I answered that I would, as soon as I saw her tomorrow after the afternoon class we shared.

When I got to school the next day the rumor mills were going nuts with the new dating couple. My best friend had gone into school early in order to dump his current fling of the time. He then skipped a class, pretended to have been sent by the office in order to request a moment to speak to my lady friend when she was in her first class in order to ask her out. She said yes, and they began to date.

Freshman year of high school, I met a girl in my Algebra class... let's just call her G. Really pretty girl in my opinion; tan skin, hazel eyes, brunette, cheerleader, etc. So, first semester goes by, she's very very nice to me, talkative, likes to laugh... she flirted with me a few times too. Rubbing/touching me, yadda yadda; I don't really think anything of it. around January, start of second semester, I woke up one day, and for some darned reason, I could NOT stop thinking about her. Ever. So, I asked her out on a date, and she said "I'm interested in someone else". So, I said "Oh, alright, that's cool I guess, let's just stay friends!"

It got worse. (Sorry this is more like failure than a romance XD)

I got mad crazy about her for the rest of high school... that's when G got broke, and her opinion on me changed dramatically. Accusing me of stalking her, framing me for all of the BS I did, or didn't do, depending on who you side with. Should I have not done certain stuff involving her in school? Absolutely. But she didn't have to be a complete jerk and leave me for the wolves, so to speak.

Junior year, nothing really happens there... just me being envious and jealous of her and the people she hangs around with. Then senior year, I'm in a few classes with her, like 3 or 4. I forgot. First time since freshman year so I said "Maybe I can fix all this crap." At this point, people knew about our feud, or failed romance, or whatever. So much so that whenever we'd be in class together, taking notes, maybe started snickering behind our backs. It was kinda SNAFU at that point. We could talk to each other again, but it was never the same. Every time I tried to be nice, G would retort and snap back at me. After I graduated it took me 2 years to forget about G and move on to better things in life...

Morale of the story, focus on High School before stupid unobtainable romance... it's not worth it. I almost failed because of her because that's all I ever did was think about her.
