I remember,

and they treated me like a goddess.
Over yen...

ok now that is somethink to get mad over but at the same time

Yeah, I used to know this one wapanese kid, though he was half black, half white, but he had to be the biggest wapanese I've ever met. He's only listened to ONE American band (MCR), he constantly complains how 2chan is better than 4chan, he won't shut up about Japan. It's just annoying.

Bottom line:

If you love Japan so much, then just move there and leave the rest of us alone!

haha i think the only reason anyone would be offended by this is if they actually fit the description

seeing as i'm half white like anime and mostly date asian girls i guess i fit the description
butt

i find this utterly hilarious haha it makes perfect sense

I don't think there's anything wrong with integrating Japanese culture into ours... After all, that's how it works over there with American culture, right? I guess I kindof am wapanese I said yes to a few of those descriptions. I'm really not that lame though, I promise!

Ok this in an intervention. It is a slippery slope you are headed down. Soon you will actually think haveing a headband with a leaf on it makes you a ninja. We dont want that to happen to you.

Haha! You don't need to worry. I only said yes to #3 (because I really am too lazy to learn a language) and I started fencing because it looked fun on Utena... I also like to dress up sometimes.

I'm wapanese....and I'm proud.

But, however, I'm not obnoxious about it....so it's okay.

I'm very familiar with the people but not with the term
I hate those kinds of people they annoy me. They say random japanese words they got from anime like kawaii and sugoi when they only know 20 words in japanese...so annoying and I know 90% of the people here are wapanese

Why does it seem for some reason that it's hard to find a white person who isn't either proud of being white (not necessarily racist) or poses as another ethnicity (such as black or japanese in this case)? I've also seen other races such as some of my hispanic friends pull stuff like that but it seems funny when they do it, anyone know why?

More so on subject, I'd be friends with a "wapanese" guy, don't really see a problem with em as i have some friends who classify

I really dislike UD definition of wapanese.. I like ED's description more.

The Wapanese (also called Japanophiles or "Weeaboo") much like wiggers, are cultureless honkies trying to fill their cultural void by pretending not to be white. In this case, by humping the giant Godzilla leg of the Land of the Rising Sun until they are assimilated into its culture, as if being azn is some kind of acquired communicable disease. So badly do they wish this, in fact, that they are willing to dedicate whole afternoons to memorizing up to five common phrases in Japanese and then misusing them at the mall or furry conventions. They frequent sushi bars, the Panda Express in the food court and Sanrio stores on a weekly basis. They are the bane of American youth.

After saying all of that.. I guess you could call me a wapanese but I don't think I am one of the annoying ones. I don't go around saying random Japanese shit and I don't fantasize about living and Japan and all that stuff. The thing I am most wapanese about would be music I guess -.-

how can this be a discussion? Seriously
There's no question to answer, no real point. It's you saying you get annoyed with certain kinds of people.
People will either agree with you or not, but besides that there's nothing to discuss

I don't mind that some Americans love Japanese culture, society, anime, fashion, etc. It really doesn't hurt me at all and gives Japan more money and popularity. I DO think that anyone liking Japanese style and forgetting about their own is in err though. You can't try to run to another identity or society across the globe because you don't fit in or are entranced by what you see. Keep in mind that most Americans who do go to Japan find out that it isn't like what they had thought.

Personally, I'm glad that Japan (as well as Korea) has such a major entertainment impact because I end up being referred to as a drama or anime looking person merely by being Korean and looking Japanese.

I don't think that's very fair. Alot of Americans admire Japan, are putting a great deal of effort into actually becoming fluent in the language, and also happen to enjoy anime. It's not any different from someone who admires the French and is learning French, or someone who admires the Italians and is learning Italian. Although, bashing America as a country and carrying on about how Japan is so much better isn't right. Isn't not fair to compare countries or place one above another.

Just another way to call someone a loser. But yes they're pretty annoying. I'm not caucasion though. To bad, or I could very possibly fit under that category. Haha.

I'll try to fit this into my vocabulary for tomorrow. Thank you for the information. :3
