With a rating of three stars I am amazed Diabolik Lovers actually got a season 2. Did that series ever become more than outright abuse to a female character?

Given that Funimation has at this point announced even fewer shows for fall, I'm curious what you are basing that on.

K will probably go to Funimation since they have the first season.

Shh. I know that. I'm still trying to live in a fantasy world.

Funimation doesn't have K, Viz does. (Which is even worse, as while they have a license that includes Canada, it isn't available to Canadians due to Viz's use of Hulu for streaming).

It's not about the amount.. it's about what I'm interested in.
I won't cancel my sub here obviously, I'm just saying i might just get a sub for funi too since they will most likely have a ton of shows i want to watch like they did this season

That is both understandable and reasonable. While it seems others in the forum at Funimation are more pessimistic, I expect them to have a total of 20-21 simulcasts for the fall, with perhaps 4 of those being continuations from the summer (2 have already been confirmed). That said, the fact they didn't announce a single title at AWA has me wondering if the pessimists know something I don't.

Given the low cost of Funi's SubPass, it isn't expensive to subscribe to both services, especially if one does it on a 12-month basis.

In contrast, I expect CR to have 25-30 new anime simulcasts, although for summer, they beat my estimate by just a bit.

Good god people. Did you not see where I said I knew it wasn't coming here?

And I'm not even going to bother with quoting the other person. Return of Kings. Missing Kings. I mixed up the titles. You still knew very well what I meant.

Did you not notice that both messages were correcting you on that the series was licensed by Viz, not Funimation?

When posting ones desires, it's generally a good thing to post the correct desire.
Regardless of whether I knew what you were talking about or not, I addressed the posted desire along with a correction as to who actually has the license for K

Lol now you made me have the same question. Watched the first (or so) episode and I like the animation, but in the end I dropped it as I just could not stand how they made the female lead to be.

I got to say, the literal translation to Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru (lit. A Corpse is Buried Under Sakurako's Feet) is much cooler than Beautiful Bones -Sakuroka's Investigation-.

As for Viewster, I had big hopes, but lately they've been so focused on the omakase thing (which, surprise, is not available in Scandinavia) and beefing up their UK catalog that I've stopped expecting to see shows that don't end up on crunchyroll there. :/ They had, what, five new simulcasts in the summer season, half of which were also on Daisuki.

I've noticed the same about Viewster as of lately. They acquire some old shows from time to time, but their summer simulcasts were almost non-existent here too. Daisuki also only acquires about one simulcast each season in my region if we are lucky. It's really a pity...

Yeah, it seemed like they were on a roll for a little while there, and then everything became UK only. I wonder if focusing on smaller european countries is just straight up not cost-effective and thet's why eveyone is prioritizing the same few markets while leaving us underserved.
