I have a private proxy server in the US that I use for a plethora of reasons, one of them being as a private proxy server (usually to access region-restricted pages).

I'm trying to use it to watch shows that are not available in my country (Brazil) but somehow CR keeps identifying my country as the one I'm from rather than the country of my proxy.

How exactly does CR identify the user's country?
The proxy itself works just fine. My accessing IP is identified correctly as from the US no matter what tool I use and it also worked in the past to access similar pages.

I'm sorry, but I'm going to go ahead and close this here. Working to access region-restricted pages is against the ToS. Legally, CR is only allowed to air those shows in allowed regions, per contracts with the publishers, so assisting you in getting around that is problematic.
