Import it. Hopefully Team Ninja adds english text to the Asian version. But I'll import it either way

It's actually better because they wouldn't have to change or censor anything or attract unnecessary SJW attention.

The last DOA game now has DLC that costs more than the actual game. Maybe that's the real reason this isn't coming, because Westerners don't want to pay $60 for a virtual fashion show, no mater how hot Kasumi or Helena look. But then again, at least the "Senran Kagura" set got a Stateside release, and that's the cheapest one.

Westerners don't really "appreciate" fan-service to an extent. A recent hot topic in the industry is the "objectification" of women in video games, but it all boils down to demographic. Are women in DOA sexualized? Yeah. Why? Because the demographic of the game likes sexy women fighting. That's the bottom line, and yet it seems that whether or not they're a part of the demographic, sensitive people complain to extreme lengths and to some degree, make money off of the controversy. (I'm looking at you, Anita) Because of this, it's been rumored that retailers don't want to carry the game which led to to Team Ninja just bugging off. Your best bet is to import it and hope that a SJW version of the game doesn't get released along the line.

I shake my head at anyone who reads this and doesn't think ''wow, what a BS blanket excuse. Just admit you're not bringing over because no one in America cares to buy it''

Looks like some Japanese developers are getting tired of the character assassination that comes from a sect of US bloggers.

I'll buy it.

Wait, then again, the track record with ports in really shoddy...

Well, at least Play-Asia will be carrying some copies for sale. I understand that they will include English language, so you won't have to worry about misunderstanding anything in the game.

But yeah.....I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but the issue with DOAX3 prompts discussion about the state of affairs in the videogame industry. Slightly related to the issue is that Idea Factory won't be releasing their games over here because they don't want to commit anymore censorship of their products.

Basically, Japan is becoming more and more aware of Western opinion of their "problematic" games. To me, this is the start of something bad.

I'm just hoping that this SJW phase that society is going through will pass during and not after my lifetime. Or at least while I'm still interested in gaming.

Kind of a run-of-the-mill franchise. That's just my opinion though. As awesome as DOA was, I stopped buying at 3. Well, hope you guys still get an import.
