I've read a lot of harem manga. But almost all (non-hentai) harem manga ends one of two ways:

-- MC ends up with one particular girl (or guy)
-- MC doesn't end up with anyone in particular, just an unsatisfying "and the zaniness continues!" sort of non-conclusion.

I can only think of three manga with actual harem ends: where the MC ends up in a mutually defined relationship with more than one girl (or guy, though I haven't read much reverse harems). (For these purposes, I'll acknowledge a MFF or MMF relationship as a "harem end"). Those are:

Anyone know of any others?

while i dont know of any that have actually ended yet there are some that i dont think can end any other way.

Maga-Tsuki is one i would not be surprised if it ends in a harem.

Hare-kon he is married to 3 girls so i doubt that is going anywhere else.

Monster Musume might just end up being a harem. I think Mia is number one but i dont see how anyone else can leave.

Tales of Weddings Rings (i think this is what its called, the one about the ring king needing to marry all the ring princesses), doesnt seem to be even close to ending but def a harem here.

Sekerei possibly.

Probably more that im reading of now but this is all i can think of for the moment.

Unfortunately these are all speculation but it really does seem these will end harem.

The manga ending was hilarious, but inconclusive.

The look on his face when the girls told Moka's father that he was dating all of them was priceless.

Tenchi Muyo OAV.

Also, as a bit of an out of the box answer, there's Inukami. The main character ends up with just Yoko, but his cousin (who is a more typical harem anime lead in the first place) has already ended up with 10 girls. The harem anime hijinks that caused that situation we don't get to see since it happened mostly before the series started.

This is a good website for answering those kinds of questions:

https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=63835

According to that, Maga-Tsuki is on Vol 10 in Japan, and that the series is ongoing. Crunchyroll has released through chapter 50, and (looking at CR's back volumes) there looks like about 5 chapters per volume in that series; so it would seem that Crunchyroll is caught up.

I've noticed in a lot of harems that there is always a sort of "clear choice" ending, but never actually an official "coupling up" of any sort of harem boy/girl with the MC. Its frustrating, because the whole time you are just going: "OMG SHE IS RIGHT THERE JUST GO GET HER" and they never do and the whole time you are just like:

Yeah, most harems have an "main girl" (or boy) that the harem centers around--usually the one whose introduction to the MC begins the story. (See: Love Hina, To Love Ru, GE, Clannad, Ai Yori Aoshi, Bakemonogatari, Toradora, Mayo Chiki.... I can keep going). Some of the harem may have known the MC before, others meet him later, but if the first chapter or episode is centered around the main character's introduction to a member of the opposite sex, then, you pretty much know who will "win". (By the way, about 2/3 of Nisekoi readers will find that previous sentence incredibly depressing. Just resign yourselves the the inevitable tsundere ending and try to enjoy the ride.)

In that sense, the purpose of the "harem" is usually just to serve as a distraction; a source of comedy, fan service and/or drama while we wait for the main couple to finally get together. They primarily exist to jerk around the main couple. Every once in awhile, one ends in an unexpected way (see: the Akaneiro ni Somaru Saka anime, or Is This Girl For Real), but those are pretty rare.

I guess, the point is that true harems--that is, ones that don't have an obvious main girl--are actually pretty rare. And ones which give you a satisfying conclusion with a harem end are even rarer still--hence the thread, I suppose.
