My computer screen broke. I'm quite serious, but a part of me is missing. How do I fill up such a hole in my heart?

Lightening storm crapped out my fat/backwards compatible PS3.

At first the pads were not working but turned on, so I was like "at least it is working"

Turned it off for awhile, then went to turn it back on.........yellow light of death........

RIP PS3!!!!!!!!!!!

Eh, I guess I don't mind sharing one:

A few years back I had a very small and fairly shallow puncture wound that I didn't think much of at the time beyond cleaning it out with soap and hot water. (I've had far, far worse many times so I can perhaps be forgiven for being somewhat cavalier about it.) A day or two later I found the appendage had swollen to hell with infection overnight and I had to be rushed to the emergency room.

Wound up having to take watermelon-sized antibiotic pills for a while and was told that if I saw any dark lines appear on my arm I was to come straight back to the ER because I'm "about to die" or something equally dramatic. Rather glad that wasn't necessary. Emergency room visits aren't exactly cheap even with insurance.

I had a cough that turned out to be pneumonia. But I didn't go to a doctor for meds or anything. I toughed it out for two months until it healed. Continued to go to school, walking two hours a day, doing PE and martial arts training, going to afterschool programs, everything. I coughed blood every morning.

Pretty dumb thing to do, but I healed and survived.

Last summer, what I thought was just an unusual hay fever reaction turned out to be tonsillitis. I suffered through the week coughing and since I had provisions if asthma was triggered I didn't want to bother going to the doctor. It got painful enough that I was looking for pain killers. It was now weekend so the doc's office was closed. Then I called the advice line and I couldn't work out if it was hayfever bringing on an asthma attack. They sent an ambulance. I took a look at my throat, it was gross, the swollen uvula was stuck to a sore enlarged tonsil and there was mucus and white patches. Thankfully antibiotics worked for this. I only ended up spitting up pus and had trouble eating and drinking. I had a week of icecream and frozen yogurt once I'd taken some painkillers.

Three weeks later the horrid thing came back for revenge
