I wouldn't trust anything that was taller than the average 13 year old. Anything older is just creepy. I guess mainly because Halloween isn't as common around here. I honestly don't understand why we are celebrating it at all, we have no reason to. People just want their candy i guess.

I went until I was fifteen, i skipped a couple years. Personally, I think teenagers doing it isn't that weird, but anyone beyond 30 doing it who isn't a parent, that's a tad weird.

When people threw candy at you, that's how you know if you're too old... Not joke, actually happened to me.
I guess you should stop at about sixteen. I was nineteen when they threw candies at me...

I think my last trick or treating was my sophomore year o highschool. So I was 16, probably can push till 18 or so if you. At this point I wouldn't personally. Being 20 and having facial hair I just don't see people giving me candy.

They'll give you candy but, idk you would feel awkward, they would feel awkward... it's kinda like playing in the bouncing balls pool at chucky cheeses, by yourself, when you're like 20. Could be fun :D, but yeeeeeeeeeeeeah.
Actually had some friends do something like that at a mcdonalds playground thing recently. It was pretty funny watching the parents reaction from sidelines.

I usually give out two classes of candy. The good stuff which are full sized kit kats or other chocolate bars and the junky smarties and pixie sticks.

I give the kids who try to come with a costume the good stuff. Teenagers who come and don't even have the decency for a costume get the junk candy only because I don't want them messing up my lawn with TP or eggs.

When two out of three people that open the door (on average) say, "Aren't you getting a little old for this?"

Well I don't know, I was thinking of rocking this out, but don't see myself trick or treating, just going out in costume, Got / Made / Modified it for the local CON but really liked all the attention I got. Have to say boots are insanely hard to modify.

When you kids say, "Trick or Treating is for kids!" Then their too old.... If a group of teens say, "Hey! Let's go trick or treating!" "Yeah! It'll be fun!" Then they're not too old.

Over 18 years old and trick or treating? I'd be thinking... "You're just pan-handling. Aren't you?"

Unless it was a special party at a hotel, where trick or treating from hotel room to hotel room...... I'd better stop there....
