1. Jitsu wa Watashi wa
- supernatural high school rom/com: very cute and funny human must protect vampire girl's secret.
2. Tomo-chan wa Onnanoko!
- rom/com - releases 1 page/day
3. Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatte Iru Darou ka
- dungeon crawl + rom/com - lots of action, unique characters and character building
4. Youkai Shoujo - Monsuga
- supernatural action + rom/com - youkai instead of vampires
5. Rosario + Vampire
- starts as a high school rom/com where human guy must protect his secret. Ends as action + rom/com with epic fights.

So yeah, I like supernatural rom/coms

Just wanted to post mine too! With very short reasons:

Haikyuu: Love the characters and interactions and all the little things that happen, also really good on character development. Also love the art of it.

Rurouni Kenshin: Childhood favorite, just a really well done story.

Boku no Hero Academia: Hilarious, fun characters and I love the art style and over-the-top homages to superheros and American comics.

Tetsugaku Letra: Really mellow, beautiful, and touching. (The author also released my favorite oneshot, Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan (Our Happy Time)).

Special A: ...This one is special to me and probably my favorite shoujo. I love the genuine heroine and just healthy competition and dependable friends lol.

I love stories with care in character craft and interactions etc... Things with a lot of "heart." Which is probably why I'm a sucker for sports anime hahaha

My top 5 completed mangas

Lone Wolf and Cub - The gritty and bleak feudal world. You really get a sense of the struggle of the non samurai folk. Action, intrigue, sex, power plays. A classic.

Akira - The movie was great but only offered a peek at the overall story. The post apocalyptic world was vast and the psychic powers were fun. Strong and memorable characters. Wonderful depth of story and artwork.

Parasyte - Another all time classic (that I read a long time ago) and one of the few times the anime does the complete version accurately. Who are the real parasytes, the aliens or the humans? I love when philosophy and chaos run crazy in manga.

Angel Densetsu - This was covered in an earlier post very well. Friendship, misunderstandings, mental battles, and laughter. Outstanding and realistic character personalities.

Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou - The best slice of life book. Well paced. Peaceful. A vastly different world than our own with simplistic technology. Its hard not to feel for Alpha and the people she knows. Heartwarming story and beautiful pencil work.

On a side note. my favorite current title is Jitsu wa Watashi wa and I'm always on pins and needles waiting for the new one to come out. Comedy at its finest.

in no order whatsoever

Claymore, its just a realy good fighting comic, like the demon design and the base story
cept me entertained.

Nozoki ana, its perverted, funny as hell, and i dont hate any of the characters so, yay

Bitter virgin, its a cute story about rape, whats not to love.
Or lets say it another way, its a story about a rape victim that is trying to overcome her fear of one boy. The story dosent rush it, and in the end she isent that much better then at the start, but she is trying not to be a victim.
That the male lead goes from semi a-hole to a decent guy only helps the story.

Kawai complex, its awsome

Yamada-kun, in the romantic comedy genre about highschollers, when it comes to kissing or any type of skin tutching. most mangas are just, ohhh we cant have that, aah he tutched me hand im gonna be red and hit him. and then you have yamada-kun. Its the total oposit, he just goes around, kissing girls, and he dosent like its. expect from his gf that whants more and is just pure awsomeness. if he dumps her im gonna hack cr-site and destroy the digital copy

i also love korean webtoons and manhwas but since the thread says manga....

Gintama - why? everything? idk just.. everything. comedy like no other but also heartbreakingly tragic. Great characters. also Katsura

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun - it makes me laugh every single time. the bicycle scene man...

Okobore Hime to Entaku no Kishi - shoujo with fabulous female lead.

FMA -- really funny. best character and plot development hands down. Well, except for her other manga. Her stories come full circle.

Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou -- friggin' hilarious

i like comedy

It was really hard for me to pick a top 5 because I read a lot of manga and there are many series that I've enjoyed. But here they are:

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Unique, influential, trailblazing manga that is nearing a 30 year duration. Unique characters with realistic quirks, fearless expression, mature themes and in later parts breathtaking, singular manga artistry. Nothing like it.

Fullmetal Alchemist - Powerful and devastating coming of age story that pulls no punches and the Elric brothers are one of the most enduring duos in all of mangadom.

Space Brothers - An inspiring slice-of-life about fulfilling unrealized dreams--in space! Beautiful, inspiring, sad and funny.

Mushishi - This series is meditative and beautiful like a Japanese garden. The art is spectacular and the story draws you into its world like almost nothing else.

Monster - A rich, complex character study/psychological thriller. Masterful storytelling, vivid imagery and so many shades of gray.

Honorable mention. I cut two excellent shounen series because I was trying to have a varied list:

Hunter x Hunter - Crazy but likable characters at cross-purposes, who are all less than perfect, tightly woven plots and maybe the most heart-pounding action in any series.Didn't make the cut mostly because of its infuriating erratic publication schedule but it is a great series!

Noragami - A shounen manga with layers of action and contemplation, all sprinkled with humor and warmth. Explores the nature of faith and the needs for humans to believe in something. Didn't make the cut because it's not finished yet and I'm not sure where it's going to go

Hoshi no Samidare - A fantastic manga with amazing action, a compelling storyline, and superb characters. I've always been a sucker for a well done "loyal knight and his princess" story and this is once of the best ones I've ever read.

Sundome - Incomparable character growth. No other manga has managed to make characters grow like this one has, in a way where I can't relate completely but still sympathize fully. Even a urine-drinking fetish was made to seem normal in the course of how the characters interact.

Great Teacher Onizuka - an absurd fellow who gets through all of his problems by being absurdly strong and absurdly, geniusly stupid. Despite all of Onizuka's flaws with his temper, lechery, selfishness, lechery, stupidity, and lechery, he was an astoundingly amusing character, and the entire class he taught will stick with me.

Yamada-kun to Nana-nin no Majo - Hilarious and not afraid to cross all kinds of boundaries while making you laugh in the process.

Spirit Circle - one of the most interesting stories I've ever come across. Simple at points, yet thought-provoking nonetheless. Characters are beyond amazing as well.

Noragami: Due to the whole Gods fighting each other idea, while at the same time doing a decent job with character development

Attack on Titan: While lacking on character development, love it for the action

Yumekui (Dream Eater) Merry:: Sure the anime blew, but the manga is great seeing the at first helpless/useless main character slowly get stronger overtime due to his desire to help his female co-lead, that and the hinting to a forgotten common past between some of the main characters keeps me interested

Magi: Author does an amazing job of world building, based different countries off of real ancient civilizations. Where the author shines however is that the manga shows that often that conflicts are not simply good vs evil. There are multiple times where 2 of the main lead characters who are best friends, end up fighting on opposite sides of a conflict due to the good they see in that sides good points. Magi starts off as somewhat boring, but by the 30th or so chapter you will be hooked. Loveable characters, interesting moral questions, definitely one of the best written Shohen Mangas.

Don't really have a 5th yet, these are the only 4 manga I have read so far that have succeeded in getting me hooked.

Vagabond - Probably the best art in any manga period. Miyamoto is the most bad ass character and I just love the flow of the story and the character development of Miyamoto.

Vinland Saga - Thorfinn is another character that I really adore because of his growth during the series and it's just one of those can't miss epic sagas just like Vagabond .

One-Punch Man - This is my type of manga. A lot of action, my kind of humor and absolutely stunning artwork.

Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Dragonball Z, Yu Yu Hakusho - The series that got me into anime and manga. Always will have a place in my heart and should be anime/manga musts but everyone is entitled to their own tastes.

Berserk - The most emotionally gripping series I have ever read. Just blows me away how attached I got to the characters and how I felt during the story.
