To me it's pretty easy.

It's hard if you're a player who likes to rush into fights head on. It's easy if you're a player who knows how to agro, dodge and counter.

You can still rush in and make it easy, as long as you dodge the hard hitting attacks, and/or if you just make an OP build. I think if you play it like Dks and try to parry everything is where you'll find it hard.

I'll find out soon, I suppose. I've been wanting to get Bloodborne for a while now but I think I'll wait for the version with The Old Hunters expansion included.

I'm hoping TOH would be enough for me to enjoy the game again.

Of course with the right OP built you're golden, not when you first start out thought. As for rushing not everyone dodges people think they're tanks until they're not.

Yeah, you can't take hits like in the Souls games, you'll get fucked up real quick in BB

It was extremely hard for me in the beginning, but I came into Bloodborne as a complete newbie to From Software games. Never played any of the previous souls game. I think it took me a few hours to safely get through the initial starting area with all the guys around the fire in Central Yarnham.

It's far easier now for me, though bosses still provide a challenge occasionally. Still haven't beaten the chalice dungeon completely, but I'm getting close. Beating Amygdala on Level 4 of the dungeon when it cuts your total health in half took me a good half hour to an hour to kill.

Just gotta beat the Pthumerian Queen and finish my NG+2 and I'll have the Platinum Trophy.

I found it mostly fairly easy but with a few very challenging parts. Some of the bosses in particular were pretty rough, and some of the later chalice dungeons were real tough (but in a fun way).

I think a lot of the difficulty in the game comes from two places. First, have you played a Souls game before? Second, if you have played a Souls game, did you only play heavy armour and shield or ranged builds? For me, I think I found BloodBourne to be fairly easy because I did have previous experience with the series but I developed a preference towards playing a melee spec with no shield. I was, in essence, already trained to play a BloodBourne style of game before BloodBourne was a thing.

I'd say in between. At first when you're getting comfortable with the world it's hard, but once you figure it out and level up it can be easy. But it's definitely my game of the year so far. With MGS V in a close 2nd.

I haven't played it because I haven't upgraded to a PS4 yet, but it looks about as hard as the other Souls games, if you're a veteran. I've noticed lots of people saying it's a lot easier than the Demon Souls, Dark Souls, or Dark Souls 2, but I don't think it is. For veterans of the series, you have the experience that makes it feel easier.

For a noob, the game might actually be harder than the Souls games because you can't hide behind heavy armor and a shield. But personally, I love playing without a shield and with very little armor. My DkS1 character practically has no armor because I only wear what looks cool. So when I switch, Bloodborne should feel like home.

Easy for anyone who actually plays video games on a normal rate. It took me quite some time to finish my first run, but only a few bosses gave me a slight trouble. It's hard for everyday folk who picked up a PS4 and were looking for games to pick up on a whim. Chances are they got lost often, died to normal enemies, and probably didn't finish the game. It was fun. Excited for the expansion next month.

i would say it's difficult. i'm going really slow and enjoying the hell out of it since i never played any of the souls games. i fell in love with it when i died to the first mob it introduces you too. my main issue is i don't like the targeting system. so on bosses that basicly require that i struggle, bosses that it only helps some or doesn't help i slaughter them. so far i have killed only three world bosses i think o.0. i'm trying to remember where the witch i found is so i can kill her, i'm not really pushing the story as much as i could and i might be spending a bit too much time in the chalice dungeons, but there is no right way to beat a game as long as you beat it all in the end.

AS A HEADS UP SOME NPCS ARE RANDOMLY IN THE WORLD AND GIVE QUESTS DON"T ATTACK THEM IF YOU WANT TO DO THEM!!!

It will be extremely helpful to get familiar with the targeting system, mainly so you can parry/riposte/staggered/whatever you want to call it. Not all bosses can be staggered with your gun, but when you can it makes them so much easier. Father Gasciogne, Logarius, Shadow of Yarnham, and one of the final bosses are much easier when you get the hang of that. As well as all the enemy hunters that try to kill you.
