My step family will fight over fried squirrel heads, when we fry squirrel. You can eat the tongue and brains. Tongue tastes good, but really small. Brains... not so much, to me.

Been years since I have had fried squirrel, but was recently talking with someone about going camping and hunting squirrel... so maybe I'll eat some soon.

I never cared for squirrel, but my wife likes it.

There are artificial lakes everywhere.
People waste so much water to make this place look less like a desert and more like the Midwest.

Yes, people eat squirrel. Also, I don't make fun of anyone for eating anything... though, there are some things I will not eat. Very, very few things, though. It would pretty much have to be moving for me to hesitate.

My local supermarket sometimes sells squirrel. It's expensive and is considered to be a rare delicacy. I haven't tried it yet.

Replying to GayAsianBoy, stupid quote html didn't work.
Oregon's definition of "professional" when it comes to fueling cars is pretty low, all you need to do to be allowed to fuel a car is work at a gas station.

In my area all the big groceries stores deliver from ordering online so I see that a lot when I walk around the hood maybe that's normal? I like going to pick out my produce but younger generation is point and click.

I've seen

A world class musician playing a Stradivarius on a random street corner unannounced. The homeless guy down the street with improvised instruments had a much larger crowd.

Cat girls and jedi walking down the street. Wrong time of year for Anime USA or Halloween.

Organized groups protesting the weirdest things imaginable; daily

Want to rent a cat while enjoying that cup of coffee? How about yoga with cats?

A real barbershop quartet singing on the street corner last weekend.

I know a lawyer that wears glowing red contacts.

A guy that routinely dances in the middle of the street in his underwear; right in front of where I work.

Have you ever seen some of the food they serve on the food trucks in DC? Odd doesn't begin to describe it.

Street preachers with black leather and chains (usually in Chinatown).

The pot dealers have regular business cards, and openly hand them out along with free samples (legally).
We are not just talking street corners. Pot is legal - republicans in congress blocked DC from regulating how it is sold.

The really good stuff would require photos, words cannot describe.

There are a couple of empty upside down shopping carts in the grass near a trail.

Can you post a link to that company with the cats+coffee? That is hilarious, sounds like something the Japanese would come up with.

That lawyer sounds creepy as hell, wonder if it's a tactic to intimidate his opponent?

It's the same here in Australia. Just because one kid who happens to be Muslim shot some guy dead.

Have met a lot of Muslims and most of them are nice. Hate it when people generalise based on 1 person's action and use it as a reason to justify their racism.
