If you were a FBI agent, and knew that aliens existed, mermaids existed etc, would you tell your family, friends, and loved ones, knowing their lives would be at risk for knowing such information. Comment, comment, comment. Lets see

If aliens exist, then we can assume that dragon balls exist too. Namekians are technically aliens, and they created the dragon balls. Knowing that information, the risk is like 100% less risky. Short answer; yes.

I'd tell them specifically to put their lives at risk.

If I couldn't keep a secret, I probably wouldn't be an FBI agent.

I wouldn't tell them directly; rather, I'd discreetly encourage the general public to look for evidence of their existence and point them in the right direction whenever possible, and think backwards with my insider info to provide the necessary logical steps that would lead to the widespread acceptance of their existence - and then encourage co-operation with them afterwards.

The way I see it, sharing that information with just family and friends is just as bad as an organization hoarding it. There's no way I'd be in the FBI in the first place, because I find it deplorable to suppress and control knowledge. Something as cool as that is something that everyone ought to know.

I'd be delighted that a government agency were trying to prevent panic rather than cause it. Then I'd wonder why an out of shape British dude was hired by the FBI. Then I'd think about telling someone...
....then I'd be dragged into a van...
....then I'd wake up, naked in the desert with an acidic taste in my mouth...
....then I'd try to remember who I was, as I watched the vultures circling...

No. Maybe my enemies or those that held a position I desired.

I wouldn't tell them anything; not even the time I start/finish work. Isn't that the requirement for being an agent? It's to keep everything at work confidential...

Anyway, I wouldn't make a good agent, I'm not good at telling people to do what I want them to do.
