Anyone else get the feeling that CR is getting the short end of the stick licensing wise this season? I mean today alone we got 1 short length anime and that's it thus far.

Personally, I hate the fact that there are now so many people in the simulcast game, not to mention ill never support Funimation again after the treatment they gave me the last time.

This seasons CR lineup just feels lacking, I was hoping to see them add a bunch of stuff right at the end of the week so we will see if that happens but its a bit weird insofar as how its scheduled with nothing really happening until the weekend.

I would but it would start another argument and I've been through all of that way before on the Funimation forums.

I don't know how that would start another argument, we don't have SpacemanHardy over here.

I thought the catalog was woefully underwhelming from what I've seen.

I haven't seen too much, AND they have been dropping support for streaming apps.....

They dropped support on the....Samsung TV app? I think it was the Samsung TV app, and something else. I believe you can side-load an app on FireTV, but nothing native.

Well that sucks. I do know that the quality of the Android app has diminished over the last few months but i had hoped it was just a bug that was patched into the app rather then something intentional.

Who knows. Maybe they spent all the money at the Folsom Street Fair. Not like we would know, CR is tight lipped about service failures.

I agree. To add insult to injury here in Scandinavia we get even less licenses than you folks in North America. There was only 5 shows that I wanted to see this season and Crunchy is showing none of them here.
This season all I'm seeing are generic shows that blend into each other. I'm strongly considering dropping my premium subscription.

Doesn't Funi take a lot of shows before CR even gets the chance anyway? And other companies? They seem to have their picks of the litter, first come, first served.

I honestly haven't watched here in a while, I'm mainly a forum poster and lurker at this point in time. I originally came for a handful of anime when I was just a young adolescent, that was the original reason I joined, but now I'm not terribly interested in streaming here any longer.

Well, in a similar situation, a Scandinavian resident too, and a few shows this season I'm following are blocked here on Crunchy, like Owarimonogatari, Asterisk, Comet Lucifer, Sakurako...

I do watch those shows anyway, albeit in a more tangible format, hence I think it's only right I keep paying my subscription even though I'm blocked from viewing those very same streams on the site itself. So, unless they kick me, I intend to continue paying my part.
Heck, If I could subscribe to Funimation, for all the watching I've done of whatever they've streamed, I would. And that's a service that's entirely blocked here...

I personally think this is CR's own fault.

They censor everything, have a larger selection of products than actual anime, and charge a sub that isn't worth it, when nothing new is releasing and/or you watch it somewhere else because of delay and censorship.

And honestly... Japanese drama? Not that there is anything wrong with it, but I think most of us agree we would drop the drama for more anime (or even manga, for me).

I've gotten to the point where I've seen almost everything I want on CR, because there are so few good new anime and I've burned through all the older stuff they have.

The forums are probably the most used part of the site.

There are a few things I think would save CR from what I think will be its death in a year or two... but no one seems to be listening to my suggestions, so I've stopped bothering with it.
