US: Boy, 11, shoots and kills girl, 8, with father's shotgun
Posted 10/7/15
11-year-old boy in Tennessee shot and killed his next door neighbor, an 8-year-old girl, over an argument about a puppy Saturday, police said.

The young killer, a fifth-grade student, used his father’s 12-gauge shotgun to fire at Maykayla Dyer from inside his home around 7:30 p.m.

The little girl, a third-grader at the same school, was hit in the chest and died in a hospital, police said.

Neighbors said the shooting was sparked by the girl innocently declining to let the boy play with her dog.

I am no longer surprised or shocked anymore

Watch the NRA with the statement "Well if the girl had a gun she could have defended herself we must be allowed to arm 8 year olds"

Guns really shouldn't need a label saying, "Keep out of reach of children."

I don't know if I'm pissed off at the parents for raising such a child or if I'm pissed off at the parents for letting a gun be somewhere that is easy for an 11 year old to obtain; I do know I'm pissed off at the 11 year old kid though, he's the one who pulled the trigger and killed a child over something so trivial...

....That is utterly ridiculous that she had to die over something so simple.
The boy knew what he was doing and even if he's 11 and it's a shame.

What if the puppy is the secret mastermind behind it all?

Young, and children can be like that... and its a bit harder to control for them just like what people mostly say about teenagers.

So he killed someone just because she wouldn't let him play with her puppy? This boy will be a great serial killer when he grows up.
