Anti-Magic Academy: The 35th Test Platoon 1st episode aired today ,but Crunchyroll just announced they acquired it and that they had not set up a release date. While i am grateful they picked up , i am still wondering why the hell we have to be behind Anime Lab and Japan. it better not be the same crap they pulled with God Eater where we had to wait 4 episode behind Daisuki. I will rage if that is the case.

There is a spread release schedule, it doesn't all go out at the same time across all of Japan: The series will broadcast as follows:

Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting - October 07, 2015.
Teletama, Chiba TV, tvk, Gifu Broadcasting, and Mie TV Broadcasting - October 08, 2015.
BS11 - October 09, 2015.

Likely CR has to wait until the second or even the third broadcaster finally airs it for the first time before they are allowed to release it for streaming. Just speculation, but they have never told us the why of anything, probably due to nondisclosure clauses in the license agreement.

Or, the fact it's a more last-minute announcement could mean it was a last-minute deal. In which case they might need to do things like get the episode and subtitle it.

Most likely this. These things aren't always as straightforward as we'd like them.

So first episode will likely be a bit delayed and most likely the rest should follow the regular schedule.

Seeing that they just announced this license now that they just got the materials to work with. It takes time to translate and get the episode ready for uploading. Usually, this is done well ahead of its scheduled time, but with the late delivery of the source materials that it just isn't possible to do everything immediately.

They must have realised another generic harem anime isn't needed this season.
