I agree that Scientology is ridiculous, and I also find it funny. But whats also ridiculous is this 'Anonymous', and 'Project Chanology'.
One of thier goals is to 'wipe out Scientology's presence on the internet'?
Come on, seriously.

JpAnim4, I could write a TL;DR essay on what's wrong with your statements. But instead, I'll just write a few words and phrases that describe your problems.

1) 16 year old
http://www.encyclopediadramatica.com/16_year_old
You might even fit in this description:
http://www.encyclopediadramatica.com/13_year_old

2) Blind Ignorance
3) Emo
4) Having an opinion without knowledge of the subject.

5) Failure to comprehend information based on source - "OMG <INSERT NAME HERE> SAID IT SO IT MUST BE TRUE!!11"

That's in regards to your opinion of Anonymous based on one statement by one random person in wiki.

6) Failure to read enough. After struggling for twenty minutes you read to the bottom of "Background" in the wiki article and make your conclusion on Chanology.

Ask yourself the following, without opening google:
1) What is Anonymous?
2) What is Chanology/Scientology?
3) How many important protests (that influenced America) can you name (minus the civil rights movement)?

If you don't have much to say in response to those questions, just please stop posting here. Your posts are not informative, constructive, or entertaining. It's simply spam.

I'm also realizing that posting here was pretty useless.

When CR first started, wise, enlightened people, such as fuzzmaster, reigned the forums.
But, somewhere along the line came the emos, downsyndromed people, 14-year-old girls, 14-year-old guys that pose as 14-year-old girls, and 55-year-old guys that pose as 14-year-old guys, so they can seduce the 14-year-old girls.

And obviously, these new people (who obviously dominate the forums today), are not too interested in Chanology, Scientology, or Anonymous.

The few people that actually do understand what's going on are also most likely too young to participate.

OK DOTA STARTED AFK.

Wow i seriously dont think this is going to work, and i dont mean the protest, i mean ppl in Cr actually helping out, they're just kids man, what did you expect?.You just wait until they try to close down soemthing thats really important to them like myspace or facebook or hot topic or even Cr and there will be hundreds if not millions of ppl bitching in youtube about how they are screwing their freedom of speech or some crap.Just look at it this way. This is not really a serious protest, but what Co$ is doing is wrong. And really if nobody even says anything, then they are just going to keep brain washing people with stupid psycho celebrities like Tom Cruise, just to profit. That is what they stand for, taking you money. So JpAnima, keep thinking your stupid bullshit about how when the world end,it wont really matter,if that were true, then everyone who ever fought for freedom should have just stayed home, and have a stupid emo thought like "Wow look at those guys protesting.Dont they know it wont amunt toanyhting in the end.Hell, they look stupid,i'll just sit on my ass comfortably ans judge them, because by doing so i feel like i actually have a critical opinion, instead of actually doing something". And Stratify, next time stick to ebaums or ytmnd or 4chan, cause people here dont give a damn

Well, I'm no sopporter, but DDoS attacks is abit on the extreme side here. That thing alone is enough to warrant jail terms. Good luck with the protest though.

I haven't seen the Tom Cruise video, but judging from the extreme reaction I'm guissing its pretty anooying.

Ok, first Ill start by dismissing all of your aforementioned 'Problems'.
1.16 Year old
First of, that website is obviously for humor and entertainment purposes only, so Id call that pretty damn irrelivent. Second, that article describes girls, which I am not. It also INCORRECTLY describes the majority of teen girls. ALSO, just ecause Im a 16 year old does not mean I dont know what Im talking about. Thats something that all of you aldults need to learn.
13 Year old.
Once again, irrelivent article. Also, Im 16, not 13. And though I do agree with alot of the way that describes 13 year olds, most of it is just ridiculous.

2.Blind ignorance
I may have been ignorant in the way of not knowing much about Scientology or Project Chanology, but it was simply because using my PSP I couldnt check all of the links you posted. And I am sorry for that.

3. Emo
I remember before everything was either 'Emo' or 'Gangster'. I think the world was better off without both of these ridiculous terms.
I dont even fit the description of 'Emo'.
1.Im not depressed
2.I dont cause myself physical harm.
3.I dont go around whining about my problems
4.I dont dress in all dark colors, ect, ect....

4.Having an opinion with no knowledge of the subject
You were actually right on this one. But now, I have 'knowledge of the subject'. I am sorry for making an opinion without first learning about Scientology and Chanology. I was simply making an opinion based on the fact that a prtest was going on.

5) Failure to comprehend information based on source - "OMG <INSERT NAME HERE> SAID IT SO IT MUST BE TRUE!!11"
Wrong once again. I didnt have a solid opinion to begin with, let alone an informed one, and in no way do I ever think like that. I didnt make an opinion based on the source, in this case Wikipedia.

6) Failure to read enough. After struggling for twenty minutes you read to the bottom of "Background" in the wiki article and make your conclusion on Chanology.
Wow, your on a roll. Wrong again, I didnt 'Struggle' as you say. It may have taken me 20 minutes because of the fact that I was using a PSP, a poor connection to the internet, and the fact that scrolling side to side reading every sentance takes a while. But I read the entire article. Once again, I was only talking about one part of the Wiki article.

Oh, now for your questions! I wasnt looking forward to a 'pop quiz' today, but I guess Im out of luck! Oh, I musnt forget Google isnt allowed.
1) What is Anonymous?
Anonymous is a large group of people like yourself who are working anonymously from within the internet to stop the 'evil cult' of Scientology.
2) What is Chanology/Scientology?
Scientology is a religion founded by L. Ron Hubbard, a science fiction writer. They believe they can 'cure' people by releasing alien spirits from an ancient society from our bodies. There efforts have gotten many people killed, and they are asically a world wide scam to extort money from the public. As L. Ron Hubbard said "If you want to make money, start a religion."
3) How many important protests (that influenced America) can you name (minus the civil rights movement)?
The tax protest movement. The womens rights protests. The Labor movements. Various anti war protests (Which never amounted to anything) Ect, ect....
There you have it, Im done. All I have to say is: Good luck tomorrow. Having learned about both Scientology and the point of Project Chanology, I have to agree with you. Id help if it was possible, but I cant do much of anything. So once again, good luck.

i'm sorry but too many people from anon are over reacting.

Nothing's going to happen, you say that scientology has killed people over the years? Guess what? So has Anonymous, and every other group in human existence. I'm not supporting it but there's no need to protest it.

It's not a vastly growing thing and will never be. Too many people think they're just too weird and don't take them seriously. They'll never have enough control to do anything, especially to the internet.

So stop freaking out

I agree that scientology is exploiting thier members by requiring them to pay in order to progress within the church, religion is supposed to be free. also their denial of the policy of disconnection from family members who do not support the church, despite the countless ex-members who have said they were told by senior members to abandon their families. I personally believe it is a cult, but hey, can't really question their beliefs anymore than any other faith out there. they just shouldn't charge people to follow their religion.
