Five Thirty Eight, the poll and statistic compiling website compiled nearly 5,000 responses to the question of "What is the most rewatchable movie of all time"

The top 10 are as follows:
1 Star Wars 98 votes
2 The Wizard of Oz 76 votes
3 The Sound of Music 58 votes
4 The Lord of the Rings (series) 56 votes
5 Gone With the Wind 52 votes
6 The Godfather 45 votes
6 The Princess Bride 45 votes
8 The Shawshank Redemption 42 votes
9 Harry Potter (series) 36 votes
10 It’s A Wonderful Life 35 votes

So, the question I have is - what do you think are your Top 10 rewatchable movies? Movies you could sit down and watch over, over, and over again never getting sick of them...

I agree with Star Wars and LOTR Trilogy. I've watched Whiplash a couple of times now. I also like, The Blind Side and Remember The Titans.

Perhaps I'd give Harry Potter movies a second watch but that's about it from that list.. or any other list for that matter.

Some movies, I flip on whenever they play on TV, even if for a few minutes. The first that come to mind:

Dumb and Dumber
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
Zoolander

Comedies are easier to rewatch, I find. There aren't usually slow build-ups or spoiled twists. Once you know how it ends, most dramas lose their interest because the whole driving point of the entertainment value was in building up to that twist, which you now already know. Action movies and comedies are just cool fights and silly jokes, so it's easier to turn them on in the middle.

Oh, yeah. One of the first two Home Alones, every Christmas season. It's basically prescribed.
Disney movies are also good ones to rewatch. The songs, the memories, the timeless stories... Good shtuff.

I'm surprised not to see A Christmas Story.

Hmm for me I believe (in no particular order) To Kill a Mockingbird, Zodiac, Fight Club, Ghost Busters, Jurassic Park, John Wick, The Babadook, and Saving Private Ryan

I think i'd rewatch The Terminator [think i've only seen the first one], Con Air, The Mummy and The Client because i remember watching them with my siblings at a very young age. I'd watch it for the sentiment.
