Never heard of Verizon...assuming that's for the USA. While we're on the subject of phone companies though... 02 are really pissing me off right now

Verizon is terrible. The internet doesn't work 30% of the time or constantly cuts out. Annual contracts. Slow speed. I've called customer service so many times and it works fine, like 10x better, when they do something on their end but that lasts about half an hour.

Switching to Time Warner soon to actually get working internet.

Jesus. I don't even know how much the More Everything 50GB plan costs off the top of my head. But smart phones are 40 dollars unless it's out of contract, then it'd be 15 dollars for each device out of contract or on the device payment plan.

Tablets are 10 dollars, and I believe so are jetpacks. I work in tech support so I don't need to talk about bills or plans as often as I used to haha.

You should check to see if the Verizon Plan would save you more money.

Why do you need a hotspot when your phones can essentially work as a hotspot?

It's unfortunate, but we can't guarantee service everywhere in America. 95% of the people I talk to have decent service that is reliable (and I work in tech support and deal with network issues).

We no longer offer annual contracts anymore once you switch to the Verizon Plan. From then on out it's device payment plans. You pay off your phone--no contracts aside from the one you sign stating, "I'll pay off my phone."

I am not sure why you have slow speeds -- are we talking about your cell service or home internet service? There's not much we can do on my end about slow speeds aside from refreshing the network connection between the phone and the towers...

Nah. I'm just a bored person who just likes informing people about stuff.

Are you the type of person who likes to bitch and moan about things and not care about what's correct or not?

Let's see..... That question applies to everyone here complaining about the dick move that Verizon is making....

Hey! All you Verizon customers... "Are you all the type of people who likes to bitch and moan and not care about what's correct or not?"

According to Kerensa, it's "correct" for Verizon to do what they're doing, and we are all just bitching and moaning about it. What do you all think?

1.) Make sure your billing address on your account is correct.
2.) Make sure that your email address on your account is correct. I cannot count how many times someone on the phone read off their email to me and I send out some message, only for me to get a notification failed delivery. I had them spell it!

Legally Verizon had to send out those notifications. If they had not, that's ground for a class action suit. But hey, if you're 100% sure that Verizon never sent them out, you should get a petition and gather the lawyers. I honestly feel that if it was never sent out then you shouldn't be forced to pay the hike in price.

You're right, I mean it's been the same for over 8 years (address) and over 10 years (email) but it must be my fault.

It's also not that Verizon JUST got nailed to the wall with an almost 100 million dollar fine.

I'm just saying you could call Verizon right now, and they would legally have to tell you went they sent out those flyers.

Yes, the supercookies did hit Verizon pretty hard. That's also something that had been going on since 2014 (the legal aspect of it, that is). I don't agree with any company tracking its customers like that unless there's a legal reason to do so. That really is unfortunate. I believe that the FCC made the right choice.
