Scotch. Bourbon tends to be too thick, rich, and sweet to enjoy all the time. It's nice to have one cup but that's about it. I can't keep drinking it all night like I can with scotch. It seems to usually be stronger, too.

I don't particularly love either. But if I had to choose I would always choose Scotch. The drinkability of Bourbon for me is pretty low.

Scotch. Glenfiddich 18 year, Glenfiddich 21 year, and some Johnny Walker Blue label. Always neat. Never on the rocks.

Yeah good taste mate. Glenfiddich is very very good. Not sure if i've had the the 21 year?
Only tried blue lable once. Expensive stuff. I paid $30 for a glass.
I like Jonny Walker black with coke, The gold one with ice is nice.
I really really like Chivas regal. The 18 year old is just delightful! I buy bottls of it sometimes when its on sale for $80.
So good. I have it with ice. The 25 year is fantastic.

I live in Northern Ireland so it would be rude not to say blended Irish whisky or scotch. Bushmills or Jameson being my go to.

You absolutely have to try Japanese whiskey.

I've had Hibiki 12, Hibiki 17, Nikka Coffee Grain Whiskey, Yamazaki 12, Hakushu 18, Torys Extra Whiskey. All were superb.

Torys Extra is bottom shelf in Japan and it still tasted great to me (compared to stuff in the US).

The flavors are incredible. It's like all the springtimes in the world arrived at once in your mouth over the course of 6 seconds. It's best to drink them neat, although I've had Hibiki 12 with a bit of ice and a few drops of water, and I've had a highball made with Torys Extra.
