In this thread, I wanted to talk about a car that's been crossing my mind: the Honda Civic. Do you like them? What are your thoughts on these cars?

I like the EG6, like the car Shingo drives in Initial D.

I always liked luxurious cars like a Mercedes or something, but I'm not a car person anyways, so what do I know?

Nissan, Mazda, and Toyota have all made vastly superior japanese cars. Fuck Honda. Who watches ID for the fucking civic.

I drive a 2013 Honda Civic Coupe, and I love Honda vehicles because many features found in luxury models come equip on Honda. In addition, great MPG, quality audio system, inexpensive maintenance, digital speedometer, dash board screen, etc. My mom owns a BMW i5, and enjoys driving my Honda Civic from time to time.

My dad loves collecting cars like Pagani, Ferrari, and so on....
He's got like 12 cars, dunno how he pays for car insurance.... the Honda Civic is my mom's daily driving car, my dad thinks it's crap because my dad clearly sets his standard of "good" too high, while my mom simply wants a car that can get us to one place to another.

Pros of the Honda civic would be it's trunk space, assuming you got the 2015 model like me, it's interior looks pretty nice, and it's a decent car.
Cons are, well, it's a 4-door hatchback with a bit of blandness on the outside, so it clearly says "mom-mobile"

I have been around too long. I own a 86 camaro still, had a 91 mustang, 92 thunderbird, 88 LTD, 92 240sx, 95 eagle talon and a 1996 honda civic... and let me tell you......that thing is the COCKAROACH's of CARS !!!!

It just doesn't die, extremely reliable and above all, is just well built. The downside is to get higher amounts of torque out of the engine, an astronomical amount of money must be put in. If you tell me you have a 350 hp, 300ft reliable daily driver that is a honda, I usually just laugh because I know those engines can take a lot, but all reliability is thrown out the window once you even touch it.

I still loved the car though. It was the ultimate sleeper and no one ever looked twice at a "crappy honda" ,but it was probably the most expensive out of all of them to do performance mods.
