Started with flute and violin but gave up on them both to carry on with piano I started around 4 years ago and skipped a few grades along the way, but currently I'm just hoping to get my diploma
I've played at a few of my school's concerts (nothing too major) but I don't really see me playing professionally. Maybe as a part time job, but that's when I'm out of options or I'm just broke.

I hope to take up flute and violin again, but that's only after I've finished all my piano grades

I used to play the trombone--9 years in total. I also play the drum set...and yes I mean I can actually play, not that I hit random things like Animal!

I started playing bass guitar 2-3 years ago - kinda late I guess. I'm self taught, but I did get some pointers from more capable people. I've been more serious about it from a bit over a year. Do it mainly for fun and my love of music. Despite that i've played on a few jam sessions with musician friends - nothing serious though.

I do plan to continue improving and playing - I find it a great way to unwind. Don't plan to do it as a job, but hey, if the opportunity arises and if I feel i'm up for it - why not.

I played clarinet back in middle school and I used to play bass guitar in my mid-teens but I have touched it in a few years. I keep telling myself I should start practicing it again, but I haven't yet. :^(

I was pretty much the same way - I picked it up when I was 20-ish and just couldn't get myself to practice. If it's something you want it will come to you in it's own way. Also a tip I was told from a very skilled musician - keep your instrument where you can always see it. Somewhere close and easy to access. It kinda forces you to practice more. Try it if you want. It worked for me at least

Oh that's good advice! I'll try it since it's just gathering dust in the back of my closet, the poor thing. Thanks! :^)

Not really sure how long I've been playing but:
Trumpet: since middle school
Guitar: for a couple of years
Piano: since 7
Drums: not really sure
Saxophone: a couple years
Recorder: since 7 (I can actually play songs)

That's all I can think of right now.

I've taken voice lessons for some time. Got to be too expensive. Then I picked up the classic guitar that was collecting dust for 3 or so years. I've been playing for over a year now. Really started taking it serious late summer. As my guitar teacher who went to Berkley said, "if your truly passionate about music why not go to school for music education?" I'm been steadily learning music theory but man its extremely complex and hard to learn when your 20ish and not enough time to practice. I'm not ready to audition for a music program yet but I'm hoping that I will be soon. I wish I had friends around me or knew ppl who were into music. It'd be a lot more fun since I'm just trying to learn and play by myself really.

Violin - 8 years
Piano - 2.5 years
Flute - 2 years

I really want to master the acoustic guitar and play piano again. Maybe even the violin. I had to take them up as "basic training" for any child in my family.

Just classical piano. Haven't played in at least half a year, but I have 12 songs memorized by heart.

I've been playing tuba for 11 years now. I'm currently a university student but I don't think I'll have much of a chance to play after graduating. I'm a music major but my my degree is not focused in performance. I'll at least try to stay active by joining a community band.

I don't play them much at all any more, but there was a period where I kind of went into self-study on the piano keyboard and guitar. I was able to have an old Kustom Kraft accoustic guitar that belonged to my grandfather from Tennessee partially rebuilt (and made fairly functional), and fooled around with a family piano and a couple of cheap synthesizers. The music bug still itches once in a while, though.

If there was a dream instrument I'd love to get a hold of, it would be a Hammond organ. Preferably a refurbished B-3 with a Leslie speaker, but I could accept the newer electronic models like the XK-3 double-manual.

I played organ in my middle school. I played it about 1 or 2 years that I didn't remember now. I wish I will have free time in my future, so I can buy ones and start to practice it again. My mom knew how to play it, so maybe I will ask her, or go to Youtube and study it by myself.
