Unfinished List: Abunai Sisters, Eiken, Sword Art Online and almost all the harems I've ever seen

I'm really against shows that overdose on ecchi, loli, romance and fanservice. I can tolerate a little fanservice but something about seeing a little kid dancing around in "sexy clothes" and stuff just grosses me out. I also hate romance so that.

Also, I'm not a fan of seeing kids get beat up and/or killed so most horror too. Just give me some badass action where most of the characters actually look older than 15 and we're good, yo.

Le Portrait de Petite Cossette. Atrocious.

I think this is the only anime I truly regret seeing, I literally wanted my two hours back afterwards. It even made me feel dirty inside.

Pupa was bad, but I don't regret watching it either.

School days.. I don't even know how I kept going with that one. Never met someone (who has watched it) who didn't think it was a waste of time so you would be the first xD

At least School Days has the novelty of being one of the most infamous anime ever made.

It was tough to watch but actually I liked School Days because at least there was character development.
School Days can be called alot of things but generic ain't one

I don't know. I thought Kotonoha was far too removed from human beings and our understanding of normal psychology to be actually considered good character development. Makoto had like one humane moment, and Sekai was just despicable. I feel it is a poor man's tragedy gone wrong.

I actually can't remember Makoto doing anything humane lol

I think that's a fair criticism about Kotonoha, but I think her stress-induced psychotic episode was an acceptable way for her character to go, based on what was shown about the character.
Most people in that situation probably wouldn't turn psychotic, but eventually get over it and put less of their self-worth into having a partner. But in Kotonoha's case, the absence of parents or other guardian figures to guide her, Kotonoha's naivety in relationships with other people, and the amount of importance Kotonoha put into having a boyfriend for her self-worth, and her very poor treatment by Makoto and seeming the entire student body, were all factors that would point away from a healthy outcome and towards a bad outcome.
It's also possible Kotonoha had an inherited predisposition to psychosis.

Sekai imo was the most destructive character, she seemed to exhibit borderline personality disorder and was just as sociopathic as Makoto.

Thinking back about it, I don't think School Days was badly written, in fact, I think the writing was pretty good.

I agree with you here that I liked Mayumi Saegusa and Erika Chiba were better than Miyuki, but Miyuki was better than Elsie.

Elsie was pretty useless. Miyuki wasn't. Miyuki wasn't bad, she just wasn't the best.

I tried to watch The World God Only Knows to learn more about Elsie, but couldn't get past the firt episode since the male MC is the kind I dislike. I do agree with you though. Renge or Hina would have been my choice for best sister. Crap..I just realized if fake sisters were allowed I should have nominated Rurumo.

Tokyo Ghoul, No Game No Life. They're just not my kind of anime. Tokyo Ghoul was pretty decent at first but then I felt like it got bad by the end, plus there's a little to much hype for me. I'm sure the manga is gold though. As for NGNL, just too much fanservice. Hated them sexualizing Shiro.

But you know what's probably the worst I've seen?

I wish I could get back the time I spent watching Sword Art Online, but at least it showed me I should be less patient with a show that's rapidly deteriorating. Pro tip: they never recover.

...which was something I recently proved to myself again, with Charlotte.

Akame ga Kill

Akame ga Kill was probably the worst anime that I've ever seen in my life. People were likely drawn to it by friends telling them how violent it is — likely the same reason why Higurashi, Elfen Lied, AoT became so popular initially.

The story was absolute garbage, it was predictable throughout, and after the first few deaths, you're positive as to who the other deaths will be. The character development was nonexistent to the point where the ending didn't seem like it'd stay that way (with the protagonist), but it ends up having Akame, who had hardly any screen time and barely any character development somehow suddenly becoming the main character. It's a generic, garbage anime that has absolutely no though put towards it, and just goes along with it as it goes along.

This is coming from somebody that predominantly watches rom coms, which are almost always generic.

I think this is the first time I've posted in a forum, and it was pretty hard to explain why I hated the story without giving away spoilers. I just regret wasting my time on that anime so much.

I also started watching Your Lie In April thinking that it was going to be a rom com, so it was probably the saddest 'rom com' I'd ever watched in my life.

I've tried watching Strike The Blood like, 3 times, and am still half way through the series. I liked Accel World, though.

The Monogatari series. Any of it. I just keep asking myself why? But, I also pride myself on not dropping series. Even some series that I haven't finished are still in my queue... one day.

Yeah the manga is far better. Ithink halfway through the series they start to focus more on Akame than Tatsumi.
