A few days ago I quit my debate team, during that time to now I had been wondering about a certain member of that group, the valedictorian-to-be. Looking at his achievements he has above a 4.5 gpa (even I must admit I’m impressed) is in 4 sports, like 10 clubs(a bunch of them having to do with helping people, current events, and the enviornment) and has not been absent or even late to school. To tell you the truth I do kind of believe he is perfect, but that just my opinion and experience with the topic.
So I’ll ask it right now, do you believe in perfection and why?

I personally don't believe in perfection. We can always pursue it but we can never attain it. There is always room for improvement even for this person you spoke of. What that improvement is is left for speculation.

no becuz there will be always a tiny flaw that will be ignored but end up being a whole big mess. i think that people who are "perfectionist" are a bunch of squares.

We are all fucked up and special in our own ways.

There is always the unknown about a person. And when it comes to a perfectionist, the smallest thing can cause a melt down.

theres no such thing as perfection (:
because perfection has to deal with the perspective of whoever's seeing it
to some people perfection could be someone having perfect grades, being in sports, being in clubs, etc. etc.
and then someone else's idea of perfection could be someone smoking, drinking, partying, never going to school, you know?

hah, at least thats what i think

You made a good rhetoric argument but you also have failed to define the time and space domain. There are several examples that can flaw your point not because he is incapable but rather reality has set boundaries on him.

Examples.
1. There are only 24 hours in one day. Let's say club activities are about 1 hour each and are limited to 5 weekdays. He may not be able to join ten because one club not included in his plate is overlapping with the club he's already in. Clubs also do not run at night unless stated otherwise.
2. About the GPA If he is taking 6 classes and half of them are AP classes and he cannot take any more than that because that's all the school can offer at any given school year, he can only attain a maximum of 4.5 GPA. Even if he wants to, he can't because 6 is the only alotted class per day and 3 AP classes is the maximum he can get from the school.

perfection can be a flaw, therefore perfection doesn't exist.

Imperfection can be perfection...Get it?...

not possible, you could create the imagine and personality but there will always be some kind of crack in someone that you think is so perfect. Perfection is not reachable

Also I'd like to point out that different people have different views of what is "perfect" so these differences alone also proves that perfection is unreachable.
