As long as there are opinions, freedom, differences, and room for improvement; perfection is not attainable. Even stating an absolute that perfection isn't attainable isn't right. Perfection is probably not attainable.

A few days ago I quit my debate team, during that time to now I had been wondering about a certain member of that group, the valedictorian-to-be. Looking at his achievements he has above a 4.5 gpa (even I must admit I’m impressed) is in 4 sports, like 10 clubs(a bunch of them having to do with helping people, current events, and the enviornment) and has not been absent or even late to school. To tell you the truth I do kind of believe he is perfect, but that just my opinion and experience with the topic.
So I’ll ask it right now, do you believe in perfection and why?

Your friend is probably a chronic masterbater and has webbed toes. Ever think about that? No ones perfect. Not even God.

What do you think is perfect? If that is your definition of perfection, achieve it If anyone else says otherwise, achieve that? until you feel, you are perfection. If someone says it is unattainable, they probably haven't even tried to achieve what they percieve as perfection... right? feel free to respond

Everyone has some type of flaw its just facing the fact that we have them, getting over it, and moving on. If everyone was perfect this would be one hell of a boring world. Either lover your imperfections or try to improve them.

"perfection" is impossible (in my eyes) as every single person will always have at least one flaw.

Perfection is impossible only because of the only word mankind had created.

It is widely understood that we all have flaws. Believe me, i have plenty of girls around me with so many flaws, and i love them for it... they really make my day!!!
But leaving flaws aside and chasing perfection isn't all that bad either, because it is your very own perfection. And to achieve that what you believe to be perfect in this lifetime alone, is an achievement in itself. We all concentrate too much on each others flaws, dakara,,,
dakara... chase it!!! chase your ideal, no matter what happens, you will feel a thousand times better to have chased after something so ethereal, that experience will be yours and your alone; rather than sitting there and bouting over others perfection and your worthlessness for not having what they do.
It has been my firm belief that everyone has something that no-one else will ever have, it is upto you to find that certain something.

trying to attain perfection is a waste of time....because the "image" of perfection keeps changing ;therefore, once you reach perfection once(if it is even possible), you have to keepchanging yourself to adapt to peoples perspectives or else you cannot stay perfect.....because "perfect" is not a universal standard right nor is it viable way to get some self-satisfaction and so yeah, every person's ideal of perfection will be slightly different and you are always going to want for peoples approval this way.....but whatever, consciously or subconsciously attention whore-y type people knock your perfect selves out, anyways.........im more for specialization rather than trying to do everything at once

like the saying goes : "jack of all trades, yet master of none"

To answer your question, perfection is impossible (IMO). What one individual may find to be "perfect" may perceived as flawed by another.

That certain member that you speak of does sound academically achieved and have accomplished what most students find difficult. However, I do not believe he is perfect, not even in the academic sense. It is possible for another person to surpass all that he/she has accomplished. The criteria for perfection is infinite and limitless in all field. To chase after perfection is almost like trying to find the biggest number.

i used to ditch class to get high and drink, passed all of my classes with a 55%ish average. took 4 gym classes in OAC. dated a stoner chick with big tits. i played 2 sports, was in no clubs and my high school diploma says the same thing on it as everyone elses that wasn't on honor roll. except mine is a french immersion diploma. same thing for college, except i didn't play on sports teams in college. that is what i call perfection. valedickwhorian (see what i did there) can suck my balls.

just because he's perfect in school doesn't mean he's perfect in everything. He is probably failing in his social life if he's that busy
