I hate camping so much, i use to have to go camping all the time with my family i hate it!!! It's so much work you gotta set everything up sleep in something that isn't as comfortable as your own bed, i mean why would you want to go some where that is less comfortable than your own house makes no sense.

I used to camp with my parents a couple times a year up until I hit 20 or so. I was also in scouts as a kid, so I went camping with them as well. I do enjoy it every once in a while, but it's not something I'd want to do too often. Notepad is more convenient than paper when it comes to jotting down all the stuff I come up with in the run of a day.

I love camping, something very relaxing about the outdoors. I'm kinda mad OP hasn't been camping since Arizona as some of the best places to camp.

I didn't go camping until I met my husband almost 15 years ago. Now we go almost every year at least once or twice. Since we are getting older, we do find that we keep upgrading our gear (we are now on cots instead of air mattresses - easier to get up from). We camp heavy too - we have a propane grill, stoves, lanterns, an easy up canopy for over our table (in case it rains), and a cabin style tent that sleeps 12, but it is only us 2 (lol).
We would like to eventually get a travel trailer so we could camp more often without the hassle of packing up a tent and all our accouterments, and we eventually want to travel to at least all the lower 48 states.
Campgrounds are much cheaper than hotels while traveling.

I walked and camped across Devon and Cornwall (UK) for three weeks with my friend. It wasn't smooth sailing for the whole trip but it was great fun.

Love camping, or staying in a cabin. I like it here in Minnesota, which is probably how I ended up liking camping.

I have gone camping and highly enjoyed it, not recently though. I will say it is something I am starting to do again simply because I believe the lord God has called me to do so. I don't know why he has called me to do so and it isn't my place to demand answers but it makes sense if I think about what could possibly happen in my lifetime. Those of us refusing ( and/or are unable ) to "take the mark" ( regardless of our faith ) are going to have to make our way out of the cities and live more nomadic lifestyles. As time passes I don't imagine I'll always be blessed with the luxury of camping at a cabin, a hotel room, etc. but I believe knowing his word and whatever skills God tasks us with learning will be to our benefit as well as the benefit of those we are supposed to reach.

With that said I'm looking forward to camping outdoors this winter with my friend, his wife and anybody else who winds up going along with us. It'll not only be my first time camping recently but will be my first time camping out in the snow. I'm hoping to camp at least four times next year ( once per season for about a week at a time ) and am looking forward to using/re-learning what I know while learning and using new things as well. A week of Bible/bushcraft study seems like a lot of fun God only knows what is in store for us during our trip.

EDIT: My text was/is no longer in HuastecoOtaku's quote.
