Hi i was trying to change the way my account works and was trying to sync it up with my other subscription based services so that it'd be set up on October 15th. After a series of attempted cancelling and marking my paypal to not renew i somehow managed to unsubscribe.

i did this a few days before my account would resubscribe and to my amazement it surpassed the quoted day of account coverage.

when i went to go resubscribe though for reasons idk CR decided that i deserved a 15day trial. i'm not opposed to the idea but i would much rather be able to set up a year of CR+.
for some reason afterwards it'd only let me sign up for a regular CR account and prevented me from upgrading to +.
is there anything i can do so i can get this all sorted out?

to me the preference of syncing my subscription outweighs the 2 weeks of free CR time

From what I understand, CR's system only checks for the flag that indicates you've had a recent free trial, not if you've recently had a subscription.

If you are still in the free trial, cancelling should end it right away. At that point you should be able to use this page to sign up for Premium+ for any of the 3 available term lengths:

A CR month = exactly 30 days. A three-month sub = exactly 90 days. So over the course of a year (or even annually) thats 360 days instead of 365 (or 6 on leap years). That means that payments will slowly move backwards each month by 5 or 6 days over the course of a year when you are charged.

Unless your other subs that you are trying to sync with also charge you each 30 days, inevitably CR's charges will eventually become un-synched with them...

oh so it doesn't check if my account has had a free trial from the origin of it but rather it has an internal timer where it'll grant me a trial period every XX amount of days.

i've tried cancelling it but it says that the payment hasn't been validated so it refuses to allow me to cancel.
i think until that goes through/i get a notification that it won't cancel it.

i just wasn't expecting a trial period to pop up upon cancelling it.
