The real question is, "If your food had hair in it, do you still need to floss afterwards?"

Depends on how good the food is and how much hair

It depends on who's hair it is, and how much. In a restaurant I might say something, but at home I don't care.

if a close family member prepared the food, then i'll just remove the hair and eat it, since i know that the food preparation was very clean.

if it's in a restaurant, however, that would depend:
1. if the hair came from a direct order from a server, and i'm sure it's not my hair, then i'll call the server and inform them. ask for a replacement (and vow to never return to said restaurant). double-check and make sure he didn't charge me twice for the same food.
2. if in a buffet, i'll just leave the plate and get another one.

Just cut or rip the part off of the food that had one hair on it.

If there's multiple hairs, throw the food in the trash.

i don't find hair disgusting. so i just keep eating.

Hair is dead, resilient tissue and of no interest to virtually all microbes. It's one of the cleanest parts of the body. The surface area is also miniscule so you're not likely to suffer from any diseases or physical harm from a hair in your food simply because it can't even carry very many microbes to begin with (compared to something like a fly). Your stomach acid can easily dissolve a strand of hair.

I usually just keep eating unless it looks like a pubic hair. That's just too gross even for me to ignore. Thankfully, I've never discovered a pubic hair in my food. It's always long hair belonging to a waitress or a female chef or something.

The prospect of wasting a platter of perfectly palatable food bothers me much more than the presence of a hair. I know pubic hair is probably still okay to eat around, but the association is just too gross. And I would probably think about how the hell that hair made it to the food in the first place. Did they not wash their hands? Were they "playing around" over my food due to some sick fetish? What else is in that dish?

I'd probably assume it's my hair either way and remove it.
