Do you think any of us can become a good killer? How do you think it may stem? (Aside from being criminally insane.)

Do you think the "feel for bloodlust" is a real and/or common practice?

Some people can't. Like the priest from Walking Dead.

Human nature is very brutish. Of course everyone has the capability to become crazy, some are just born crazier than others. The desire to kill doesn't necessarily have to be rooted in an inherent mental illness, anyone can drive themselves mad with hatred for someone to the point of where they want to kill them, if their nature becomes violent enough.

I think we're all capable under the right circumstances despite our hopes and good intentions for ourselves. Whether or not we'd be good at it is another thing completely. I don't think that I have the potential to be good at it - I think it requires a very unique skill set.

It would help if I were taller and stronger so that I wouldn't be so easily overpowered. I have as much potential as that kid in the second season of Durarara! - the only thing I have going for me is the element of surprise and that lasts not even five seconds.

It's possible but difficult. Requires a lot of programming in some cases.

I certainly had the potential when younger.
Not so much these days, unless there was a good reason.

This totally reminds me of the scene in Anna akane'a video where she pretends to shoot all her hate commenters. Anyways, wanting to beat the shit out of assholes is a common thing. That's different from "blood lust". If you think you might get high off just killing people you might want to seek some help.

I feel like some people may have what it takes, if it ever came down to it, and others just don't.

Upbringing may have a lot to do with it, as well as underlying mental state.

The circumstance would be important too.

Certainly believe you can find a monster inside the mind of pretty much any human. Question is just how deeply it has been buried by rational thought, depends strongly on how the person was brought up.

We still retain our primitive ape instincts even though we've lived in societies for thousands of years. We all can hunt if we need to. Then we have killing for other reasons. Some even directly related to insanity.

I think there is a killer in all of us. There have to be conditions allowing for that to surface.

Absolutely everybody is capable to become a killer. There are many psychological reasons I could explain, but simply put the human brain is just a developed animal brain.

Humans can modify their behavior by choosing, but fundamentally are reflexively driven by core instincts (to survive, procreate, protect), so anybody could kill if they were given the right reasons.

Completely normal people only differ in that the circumstances in which they kill someone has to be more extreme than crazies. A psychopath might kill people just for fun, whereas a normal man might only kill someone that is physically threatening his family.
