Sure I have. Forbidden fruit is so very tempting. With serious intent? No. Always being told that something is bad often has a special effect called "reverse psychology."
funny that you mentioned that

The fact that you ask makes me worried that I am too flippant with racial slurs.

All the time. People my age find that kind of thing funny No one actually takes it seriously, and I have never said it seriously.

I used to jokingly say any kind of slur all the time, but I've grown out of it for the most part.

Not that I can remember. A couple of my friends in high school called me a bean flavored saltine, since for someone with a lot of Hispanic ancestry I look almost albino. That's the closest to racist slurs I've gotten though.

I find it hard to believe anyone has not.. esp with friends in jest ..

Not in certain contexts. Otherwise, I don't see any word as inherently bad and have used racial slurs in non-offensive ways.
Posted 9/24/16
No not really
Growing up speaking only Spanish we have two words which are guero which means light skinned and moreno which means dark skin. Those are the only words I've said though they are not looked as 'racist'
For example my whole family calls me guera because I'm extremely light skinned and my cousin Moreno because he's extremely dark
It's almost like a term of endearment

In my lifetime I bet that I have said every racial, ethnic, religious slur in existence along with every cuss word in the English language as well as assorted swear words from many other languages. It's part of everyday conversation in New Jersey.

To be honest, no, not a racial slur

I just say the colour of their skin or their ethnic background lmao
