Concur.

Too unequal and outdated guidelines, and violence-inducing, whenever taken too seriously.

Also, those too engrossed in either one often have a high propensity to reject valid science in favor of their flavor of the 'supernatural', at least in the Americas...

Durarara. Everyone in that series needs five shrinks and a few puppies to normalize and stabilize their psyches, I swear to god. Morally the characters have to be some of the worst I've come across, even as they are well written. They truly exhibit the raw evil that the human psyche can breed tbh

You see, going through the series right now. I like to think that it's sort of a prime example how things aren't which could effectively translate to of personal betterment. Kinda like how everyone could scream all day to Light Yagami about his royally screwed worldview.

But then again, that's really subject to the viewer's maturity... Just my 2¢.

Not really a story, but the other night I was stuck in a motel and stayed up too late watching TV. Ended up watching part of a show on MTV called "Are you the one?". Probably the single most trashy thing I've ever seen. Maybe I'm just getting old but that show really disgusted me.
