CPU-wise you don't need more than an i5 to run all games these days on maximum graphics. Been like that for the past two years, and will continue to be like that for at least another year or two. I told my friends that the i7 was overkill, but they had to invest in it, even though they knew it would be wasted potential. Like attaching a jet engine to your car, but there's no chance in hell you can drive over the speed limit without paying the ultimate price for it. I recommend upgrading to GeForce 9xx, though. You can find a cheap 960 around pretty much anywhere. That should keep you up and running for another 2 years. That is, if you have an i5 or higher. i5 is damn cheap, too. 3.3 GHz is more than enough.

I'm planning to buy it shortly after the launch, just to ensure that Bethesda is not biting off more than they can chew. Skyrim was really successful, but I'm still not persuaded by the idea of Fallout 4 living up to the extensive hype.

I will also probably take a page out of my boyfriend's book and watch some streams from TotalBiscuit, Jesse Cox, etc. If anything, it'll give me more of an incentive to buy it soon if things are as awesome as they seem.

Unfortunately I can't pre-load because I got the Pip-Boy edition, but there's a holiday this Wednesday that's just begging to be used for Fallout 4. I know what I'm getting with a Bethesda game: a bug ridden glitch fest, but gosh darn it I'm going to enjoy every bit of it.

I was so excited when I heard when this game was announced, and it really got me going when I was reading/watching about the game itself and all the new and awesome things that changed and implemented into it. Then when it came down the the system requirements, I cried, I cried so much every night thinking about it. My PC's graphics card can't run it, I don't meet the minimum requirements for the game and it really sucks that I can't afford to upgrade to a new better card.

I have plans in the future of completely building a brand new PC, looking at spending around $2,000 AUD on it, but that won't be happening any time soon though.

My UK version had been shipped 2 days ago but I haven't received it yet. The s.p.e.c.i.a.l. and perks system have undergo an overhaul, so it is quite strange for old fans. Also I just wish to be a hero saves wasteland at 19, not a cyro-sleep pre-war born.

The impulsive me really wants to get Fallout 4 right away, but the more sensible me is saying to hold out seeing as I still have to finish The Witcher 3, Metal Gear Solid V, Tales of Zestiria... and I just started Destiny That, plus the game is likely going to be rife with bugs / glitches so waiting for patches and the inevitable GOTY version with all the DLC will probably be best for me.

Already have it pre-loaded on my PS4. Less than 12 hours to go and I'm pretty hyped, but I understand this is a Bethesda game so I got my expectations tempered to handle whatever bugs/glitches there are.

I've seen a few reviews and buggy is definitely a thing with Fallout 4, but that's par for the course with Bethesda. Might wait until Christmas to buy this one.

I'm trying to focus on my coding, but I've got itchy- itchy fingers. 3 hours to go. And I've got a dentist appointment in 12 hours, argh. Those bastards in Asia can play it before we can, damn you Steam location lock.
