Post Reply How does your fashion define you?

Metrosexual, gay, or flamboyant.

Like I have some shirts with floral patterns, very colourful... like bright yellow... lime green etc. I don't go for pink... as I think it's so cheesy to wear pink as a man.

Sometimes I get very inspired, and go buy lots of clothes. Most of my fashion choices are usually inspired by what men wear on the streets, or it could be inspired by anime characters; like I think the guys in Free! have some nice fashion styles.

At the moment, I'm not into fashion, as I feel like no matter what I wear, I feel like it don't make me look any better. These clothes would look so good on a tall person... I feel like being a short man... normal clothing don't make me look good.

I feel like I look good in kimono's though.

Three quarters of the time, I am thought of as a lazy slob, and the other quarter, I give the impression that the lazy slob cleans up nicely.

I'm more laid back rocker style. I like black, darker hues and white. A little lipstick and I'm ready to go out.

my fashion defines me the most but I seem to have a really hard time pairing stuff so I have a lot of single pieces that I don't know what to match with. I think there's certainly so many studios and fashion designers that make special garments that I couldn't see in something else though.. Fiixxed, Bless, W&LT etc ... they all follow a seperate way of designing and marketing that appeal to certain people.

I try to dress more minimally now, so I buy a lot of shirts paired with tapered trousers because they're so functional and good in their simplicity.

Everyone forms opinions of people based on how they dress. Consider the following scenarios:

1. Would you go to a male doctor who wore baggy blue jeans hanging so low you can see their underwear?
2. How do you expect a soldier to dress?
3. If you were driving down in a seedy neighborhood looking for a lady of the night, what kind of dress/undress would you expect?
4. What would you think of someone today wearing a leisure suit?

These are extreme examples, of course, but the same thing applies in other situations. All of us probably dress down when we are at home, but if you are going to work somewhere, you would most likely dress in conformity with what the group is wearing.

I shape my beard up when i get hair cuts and I wear Band merch with either nike/jordan shorts or sweat pants
That is just me in public. Getting dressed up is a different story.

For most parts, I am classy and organized since I despise looking messy. Also enthusiastic when I wear a shirt representing my hobby/interest.

My "fashion" is very outdoorsy, including things like climbing pants (good range of motion and quick drying is always good when you're climbing mountains and may well get soaked days from civilization), and microweight merino shirts, with woolies, a down mid layer jacket, and a waterproof shell for layering.

I also throw in a bit of military surplus if I can find the old German wool stuff. It gets harder to replace with every paid that comes to the end of its life, the ones large enough for me are getting to be nearly impossible to locate.

I wouldn't say it defines me, but it does give an impression of who I am, enough so that when people find out I'm also into anime/manga and video games they're often shocked.

Evidently I don't present as someone who would be interested in about half of my hobbies.

Pants, T-shirts, and a hoodie if it's cold out....

For more formal events I throw on my old hawaiian button up shirt.

Can't not to add a reply to this old topic because I'm the same in case of clothes which are connected with my interests/hobbies! For example, I adore T-shirts with anime pictures or my favourite bands, also I'm very interested in subculture fashion, especially such styles as gothic and nu-gothic In general most clothes in my wardrobe belong to the casual style but I have rather a lot of these subculture elements One of my the most favourite types are clothes from leather, especially leather jackets like in this gallery http://stylemann.com/best-leather-jackets-for-men/ I have the one very similiar to this and I enjoy so much to wear it during autumn/spring!

And I like beautiful formal dresses too, I wish I had many of them in my wardrobe!

I don't really care for superficial aesthetic; and, I don't really consider fashion all that relevant. So, I'd have to say that fashion doesn't describe me personally. I wear what I think is comfortable, and how other people perceive me doesn't really concern me. Clothing is entirely subjective preference. So, in essence, I'll do me and you do you!
