I like him.

It's too bad some people see him as an evil Muslim loving socialist who's going to take their guns away while forcing their children to be gay.

Although Sanders may be more earnest than Clinton, I still don't trust him. He is making tons of promises that, quite frankly, are completely impractical in a country as large as the US (they would, and in some cases do, work in smaller countries like Sweden, but you really can't use them as a model for US policy).

My parents actually brought up an interesting case on this matter: in Russia there was a politician named Zherenovsky (I think that's how its spelled) who was known for making some really wild promises, most famously promising free Vodka, and they said that Sanders sounds a lot like him.

Overall, I don't see any of the major candidates on either side being fit to be president at this point (crazy, shady, or both). O'Malley seems okay, but I don't think most people outside of my state have even heard of him, and he has not been able to stand out at all so far.

Didn't O'Malley do more harm than good in your state?

I've heard some people say that, but the only example that I heard was about the economy and involved details that are well outside a state government's control; i.e. stuff about a state debt, but during a period where the entire country was in a recession and could not be compared to how it was when he was first elected.
In general, I am pretty skeptical about people trying to blame economic turns on government leaders simply because a president or governor has almost no control over neither the national/state economy or government budgets (the legislature passes that).

He's horrible the whole democratic party is horrible, the republicans are horrible! They are nothing more then a bunch of elitist assholes that want to control everyone's lives and i'm sick of it. But bernie sanders is a gem in this shitty group, and what I mean by that he is one of the worst politicians I have ever seen. When you propose a plan that will cost american's 18 trillion dollars a year that's right I didn't stutter 18 trillion dollars extra a year on top of the massive debt we have now you must be brain dead seriously.

Better than Hilary the Criminal. And all of the Replicants. Admittedly he is a bit leftist for even my tastes, but he is the candidate I can stomach.

Of all the candidates, Bernie Sanders is the one closest to my views (I've been a Democratic Socialist for decades).
