Just as the title says i plan on getting a ps4 in the next couple of weeks. What games should i get for it. I really don't know what games are most popular on the ps4 since i have a Xbox One. I do plan on getting Final Fantasy XIV but aside from that what else should i get?

Tales of Zestiria.

Also, Hyperdimension Neptunia VII (V-2) has a current release date of early next year.

Disgea 5 is a really fun game if you're a fan of tactics.

I also really like The Witcher 3.

I'm surprised that even though we're on an anime site, no one has said J-Stars Victory Vs +

Bloodborne
Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vegeance
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD
Hyperdimension Neptunia VII (when it releases)
Omega Quintet
Persona 5 (when it releases)
Sword Art Online Re;hollow Fragment and SAO: Lost Song when it releases
Tales of Zestiria when it releases

Yes, I'm mostly recommending exclusives. There are plenty of other 3rd party titles that are worth your while as well.

Samurai Warriors 4 (and possibly 4-II) if you like brawlers. The uber version of Dynasty Warriors 8 is also a good choice.

If you haven't picked up Metal Gear Solid V for X1, definitely pick that up. Get Final Fantasy Type-0 HD as well if you haven't gotten it for X1 so you get into the FFXV Open Beta/Episode Duscae.

Otherwise, Bloodborne is the best PS4 exclusive out right now, and while I recommend playing it ASAP if you love the FROM Software Souls series, hold off on it until next month. Bloodborne: The Old Hunters, BB's first expansion, is coming out in November, and there might be a special bundle to get both.

If you didn't have a PS3, I recommend picking up both of Naughty Dog's remasters, The Last of Us Remastered (which includes the DLC episode) and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection (which includes all 3 Uncharted games and beta access to Uncharted 4 Multiplayer). Even if you're not into the multiplayer part of each game, the gameplay experiences are more than enough to warrant a purchase (especially The Last of Us, which is only second to Ni no Kuni as my favorite PS3 game).

Those aside, the above mentioned JRPG's are also a great investment, but I suggest waiting for some of them to be on sale if you aren't playing them yet (i.e., Tales of Zestiria, Disgaea 5) because Bandai Namco and NISA are known to drop prices either permanently, or as part of several sales during the year. Moreover, Zestiria might see a "premium" digital bundle later with all the DLC, so unless you want to get the physical disc, that sounds great as well.

That said, if you are not in any FFXIV World yet, I'd like to see you in Leviathan and as part of my Free Company.

DAI requires hours of farming, as opposed to traditional BioWare gaming experience. It is still epic though. I played it on PC and the control on console could be much better.

It only requires hours of farming if you lack the Black Emporium DLC. Couple that with the Skyhold Chest Dupe Exploit and you never need to farm T1 - T3 Metals ever again. Herbs of course are a different story. But they're also easy to obtain by increasing the date on your console by a day each time you start one of the "Gather" Warboard Missions. You're right that the control on console could be much better though. In fact, I'm kind of bothered by the fact that we only get a limited number of spells/abilities to use ourselves.

The Witcher 3.
It's a great game (unless you don't like open world RPGs) and it will keep you busy for quite a while.

What type of games do you like?
