Majority of the time, I enjoy anime in Japanese. However, the following sound better in English: Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Monster, and Wolf's Rain.

It depends.
Sometimes the dubs are complete sh*t.
And sometimes they are amazing, like the dubbed ver. of Code Geass.

It really does depend on the anime for me. Newer anime tends to be better in Japanese aside from certain ones like Full Metal Alchemist which the voice actors did an amazing job on. For older anime, I tend to prefer in English but that may be because I had originally seen them in English first, like Outlaw Star.

I prefer subs. I read fast so the text doesn't distract me. I do think some anime sounds better dubbed but that's probably just because i watched them dubbed before I watched them subbed.

I've preferred subs for a few years now, in my earlier years I liked a lot of the earlier dubs, but I feel that the quality of dubs has drastically dropped to an extent since the 2010s started. Then again, I'm biased. I feel as companies try to focus more on simulcasts and other instant services less effort goes into their dubbing work; resulting in a combination of factors that IMHO make modern dubs inferior; many VAs are miscast, don't bother to use a different voice for a different character, sounding similar to another they've done, the translations are flubs, in the case of the Free! Eternal Summer dub disaster, crap like "dude" and "bro" is wormed in for no other reason than to try and shift demographic appeal, which is Americanization at its finest.

Subs for sure. I can't hear Tomokazu Sugita if I watch anime dubbed.

99% of the time I think native language is better for everything. Sometimes though I find a dub which I like so in those cases I will watch either but still I believe that media is better in its original form. Still I sure do love that Bobobo dub.

Subs are usually better, there are exceptions however: Black Lagoon, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Death Note and Ghost Stories (best dub yet :P) just to name a few. Most dubs of mainstream series are decent because the licensors actually have the budget to get decent VAs. For all the 2nd tier stuff they all recycle the same mediocre actors; these are the people who give dubbing a bad name.

I'd rather dub just because I'm an action person, and I'd rather focus on the actual screen than reading subtitles. I watch sub much more often, but would prefer dub.

Anime fans are always going to argue about this kind of topics no matter what, so even if you talk about it, it will not result anything. I highly recommend to just ignore it and watch the show whatever way you wanna watch it, whether is sub or dub.

Subs are better. The majority of anime is not dubbed, so my Otaku street cred would be severely diminished without them.

They also sound better and make more sense in the context of the show. You know. Since these are shows usually taking place in Japan. Makes sense for people to be speaking Japanese...For the sake of immersion and all.

I think subs better because in a lot of anime the japanese voice actors put more passion in their roles than the english versions. Though there are some good english dubbers. That's what it sounds like to me.
