I was watching One Piece, and on the next episode, the video quality was dreadful and degraded....like if it was 320x200 resolution. It happened on episode 489.....when I went back an episode, to one I just watched, which was HD quality, it too was a low res quality and look horribly compressed. I looked back at episodes I watched on the PS3, and they are all now low quality videos, no longer playing in HD. I tried logging in and out, turning the system off and on, deleting the app and reinstalling it...none of it worked. I mean it's HD quality online on the computer....and the quality I'm getting on the PS3 is worse then the SD quality that is on the website.

How can I change the quality back to HD? Even the sound sounds dreadful.

Thanks.

Same here. Tried XBox One, PS3/4, WiiU, iPad/Phone. Anything thru the apps is either getting an error or extremely low quality. PC is fine though.

I've had this on my Android devices too, although I've found that if you scrub back to the start of the episode (admittedly I do this immediately once the video starts playing poorly) then the video quality goes back to normal.

When you mean scrub back to the start, you mean cycle backwards to the beginning...for the PS3, it's using the d-pad to rewind the video. Cause I did rewind back to the beginning as well, and still the quality is terrible.

Yep.

This started happening a few days ago; the video starts playing at a really low resolution, and the audio sounds like it's underwater - if I rewind the video a bit then it seems to re-buffer and play correctly.

Ok. will try that.

Nope...still doing it...I fast forward and rewinded a number of times, and the quality of the video and sound is dreadfully bad.

The picture is so bad that I can't even read the subtitles. I was going to go premium on the first of the month, but if it is like this I won't even bother. It is not my setup because the commercials play just fine. Rewinding doesn't help at all.

I went into my video settings and reset the default to 720p, as it had reverted to SD. I rebooted my player, and now it is okay.

Video settings? Where are the video settings? Or did you mean on the PS3? which one did you change on the settings?

You guys may want to go to Facebook to complain about it. Because the support in the site is the definition of utter shit.

Ah, ok...didn't see the settings listed there, was thinking PS3 video settings...but thanks, got it working, video quality is back to good quality again....wonder why it reverted to SD?

Thanks, that seemed to fix it for me. I wonder why it switched to SD; I definitely hadn't changed it.
