He did his best with the least productive Congress in history and I blame the Republicans for never setting down to negotiate just to make him look bad. Obama gave them plenty of chances to do so, but the Republicans have been a joke for the last 8 years with the GOP and the Tea Party movement. Sure, he could've been more aggressive, but there's only so much a President can do with Congress : /

I just hope we don't go two steps forward and ten steps back if some idiot gets elected out of the GOP in 2016; I can't even take their debates seriously since all they are is shouting matches and they have Donald Trump of all idiots as a front runner.

Also finally have a use for this meme:

He did his best with what he was given. When Clinton was in office, we had a surplus. When Bush entered, we lost it all on a unnecessary war. Obama did all he could, even after being held up by a useless congress.

The problem with Iran getting nuclear technology is not inherit to them getting the bomb but rather to possibility that one of the many terrorist organizations they support getting a hold of enriched uranium and making a dirty bomb and that going to Hamas or Hezbollah and using it against Israel, or others.

(shrugs) I know he didn't kill him or anything. Presidents are only responsible for executive orders nowadays in the field of military as Congress hasn't declared war since WWII. Just wanted to use the meme.

He did some good and some bad but I never questioned his intentions. I do think it was a mistake to play hardball and divide congress over healthcare. It needed to be done but maybe the price wasn't worth what we got; considering how it fractured congress and pushed the GOP so far right. Maybe that was going to happen anyway, but I think he shares the blame for the culture of noncooperation in Washington.

Considering where we were at in 2008, and the challenges going forward from that, we could be much worse off today. Perhaps it's enough that he held things together and accomplished some modest reforms. I'm sure he won't leave satisfied though.

He is far from perfect but he was the best we had at the time.

I used to think he was a Communist Muslim who wanted to persecute Christians in the USA.

Hey man, Communism is pretty rockin'. Don't knock it 'till you try it.

ATF Gunwalking Scandal, there was the NSA scandal, Benghazi, Obamacare, IRS Scandals, failure to make any sort of impactful decisions regarding the middle east, trying to close Guantanamo, Memogate (cause apparently adding gate to the end of scandals is the thing to do), Intelgate back in August...

I could keep going but I think you get the point.

good things? Gay marriage (technically Supreme Court), Assassination of Bin Laden (which he had little if anything to do with), pulled troops out of middle east? (Oh wait, they are still there...)

Let's not forget his constant support of domestic issues that he had no business involving himself in simply to gain public approval. "Oh, everyone is supporting this kid so let me jump on the bandwagon real quick so these people like me!"

Yeah, I'm not a big fan. But we've had worse presidents. Sorry Pres. Carter, but I'm looking at you. Great guy though (Carter that is).
