Anime
Denpa Kyoushi - Actually enjoyed the manga quite a bit, anime seemed like a poor adaptation. Couldn't get past how horrible his sisters voice was
Guilty Crown - Was good until that ending.
Tokyo Ghoul Second season - I read the manga, since this wasn't done differently from the manga I didn't care much for it and thought if they just stuck with the manga plot it would be better. The ending was no where near as good as the manga.
Rokka no Yuusha - It looked fun in the first few episodes but I really just feel like it drug out, I don't think it excelled at anything individually. Then in the end of it, it is almost like watching it was useless because I don't feel like anything really got resolved.
Season 2 of Nisekoi - I think it lost a bit of its charm from the first season, I had a hard time really caring for it very much. I also didn't feel like it lived up to the manga, if I am going to consume the story I'd rather it be in Manga form.

Manga
Anything Koji Seo has written - Suzuka, Kimi no Irumachi, Princess Lucia and Fuuka. Now, this one is kind of a love hate. I do like all of those manga, I've read all of them and I am caught up with Fuuka. I say they are disappointing because he always seems to make one large decision during the course of each of the mangas that really just rustles my jimmies, or he throws something out of left field. Mostly I am annoyed because Lucia ended after I think 37 chapters and I enjoyed it more than the other 3 I listed because it was different. I believe he moved more focus over to Fuuka and then never got back around to Princess Lucia and maybe got bored of it, who knows.

That is about it for manga, I guess it is because I don't feel like I am as invested in it as I am when I watch anime. I also consume a lot more manga than I do anime. It takes me about 4-5 minutes to read a chapter of Manga, it takes me 20 minutes to watch an episode of anime. So if something doesn't pan out in a manga I don't feel like I wasted too much time.

Was the anime different? It's rated quite highly on MAL. 669.

I watched about 3 episodes of it, and that is really all I needed to see. From those episodes it seemed like the events and the plot was going to be the same as the manga. However the art style even in the manga is a bit different, I don't feel like it translated well into animation. That and some of the VA choices seemed odd, mostly as I mentioned his sister was very poorly picked. I watched the 3 episodes and decided that I thought it would be better in Manga form. After I decided that I figured I would avoid being annoyed and or frustrated by the anime and just continue reading the manga.

Guilty crown is one of mine as well.
kill la kill was good but it took some weird turns that I thought could have been a lot better.
Black Lagoon

Manga

I do not read much manga but one that really let me down was rosario + vampire so could have so much better.

I can understand Black Lagoon if it's because it lacked a proper Season 3, although I really enjoyed the first 2 seasons anyways.

As for Rosario, I choose to look at it for what it was: the manga that established and popularized a huge amount of, if not most, of our modern high-school harem genre's tropes and stereotypes (for the manga was made in the late 90s). Many people can and will get turned off by that, but because it was the 1st to do it, I have a certain respect for it as it was relatively original back then, and in my opinion, it did these tropes more effectively than the carbon copy clones of it you see today. But hey, that's just my opinion.

You forgot robertas blood trail. That kind of left things hanging in shroud of mystery. IF I am saying that correctly.

True, but that was an OVA. An OVA I still need to see, I'll admit, but I do wish there could have been a proper Season 3. Feel the exact same way about a little anime know as Full Metal Panic!

How about novels based on manga? I love the Chibi Vampire novels, but book eight ends on a cliff hanger and nine weas never published for some reason. I tried to find out what happened, but the best my interenet searches resulted in was finding out that nine had an ISBN number assigned to it, which just leaves even more mystery. I won't hold it against the rest of the series, but I am sad about not being able to read the conclusion.

Acutally they went out of business after the 8th volume was released. I am still holding on the hope that someone else picks it up...

Full metal panic was pretty good although this is one where I like the English dub over sub. Now they did leave a bit off in the anime but they did continue on in the manga where things did end pretty well. If you have not read it yet it is a pretty good read.

Anime
Jitsu wa Watashi wa - I saw it coming. Slow romance, typical male protagonist. I go for romantic comedy, but as expected, the ending is shit.
Akame Ga Kill - ...
Sword Art Online II - I personally liked season 1 better. It focused on the protagonists, plot and problem. After all that hype, this season disappoints me.
Starry☆Sky- I expected some story out of this. But uh, the only good thing about this anime is the art.

Fruits Basket the anime was a let down for me. The animation kinda sucked.
Also, Black Butler season 2 was a major let down. I didn't like it.
