I might've done that before without realizing.

What if they aren't and it's a problem with interpretation?

Glad my girlfriend didn't do that XD

She is very straightforward about her feelings, as am I. Hang in there guys, those girls aren't worth it XD

Has anyone on here ever had someone lead them on? Like they pretend that they are interested in you only to call you creepy, clingy, desperate, or try to put you down the minute you try and take initiative to get to know them better?

Maybe they are just being friendly and you misinterpreted the situation.

The majority of girls, like myself, usually don't show interest in a guy when they are interested and are very friendly with guys they are not interested in...or is it just me? XD

I see a similar attitude to people who believe in the friend zone too much. Just because someone is nice to you, doesn't mean they like you. Not even if they kiss you or whatever else. Stop taking every little thing as a sign unless they straight up tell you. If they tell you they like you when they don't, then by all means be pissed off.

Damn it! It's a friend zone thread in disguise! They're evolving!

Women are guilty of this a lot, when they want something. Not that it is women's fault. It isn't. A lot of men will chase after women, if they think they can get a piece. Men would probably do the same, if women acted like men in this way... and I'm sure sometimes they do, and the situation is reversed.

That's kind of how we're wired.

Generally speaking, though, if you think things through, you can see that someone is leading you on. You just have to pull your head out of your instinctual ass.

Not much of a pursuer, so it's never happened to me romantically. But as far as friends go, it happens to me all the time.

As far as I'm concerned, it's one of the worst things people can do to me. I hate being lead on about anything. I value honesty and reliability above everything else, and needless to say, I tend to go through friends a lot.

Yeah, unfortunately, I am the same way. If one of my friends makes me suspicious, I get ancy. Then, if they do something that stokes the fire of my worries, I am out. Sad truth is, They probably would've screwed me over later some time, so probably did the right thing.
