Let me know if a thread like this one exist or not.
Thanks a bunches.

Explain your opinion in great detail.

Have you ever had a conversation with someone you knew and felt that will be the last conversation you will have with that person? Like, after that conversation that will be the last time you ever talk to that person due to something terrible that has happened to the person. I get this feeling when it comes to my mother and it bothers me sometimes. I try to ignore it but it happens ever so often that it's annoying. I haven't spoken to her about it because I'm not so sure how she will respond. And I don't know how to explain it to her. I love my mother and I worry that I'm gonna lose her. I don't want that just yet. It doesn't help that I get this thoughts about random and horrific things that happen to her. Maybe I worry too much or something but I can't help feeling like this.

Does anybody else feel like this?

I think we all get those feelings at times.

Thankfully I've not had that feeling and have it come true,

I try not to think about it (although most of the time I can't help but think about it), I have always over though everything no matter what it is i'll think about it too much and look too deeply into every possible outcome (think that's what causes my anxiety attacks).

When I realise i'm doing I just try to find something to distract myself and i'll just end up not thinking about it anymore without realising.

"felt that will be the last conversation you will have with that person?"

I always say bye to my mom everytime she leaves the house for this reason. It's better to know that you have at least said your farewells before they left if anything bad were to happen...sigh

I tend to overthink too. It's really not healthy thoughts either. I try to distract myself but it's hard to do that. So I normally just wait for it to pass.

True. But I rather not have it come to that.

Yeah just try not to dwell on it too much or it can make it worse.
Just be thankful that even though you have the thoughts that its never come true

I can't say I really feel like I'll never see them again. But whenever I hear my township come over the radio in my ambulance I feel my whole body tense just waiting for my address to come across to let me know one of my parents is in a bad way. I just have this feeling that I'm going to be doing CPR on one of them if they aren't obviously dead dead.

And now I'm just gonna find some solace in this nice brown bottle next to me.

Same, I feel the same way for both my mom and dad. So sometimes when they're about to leave for work or gonna go somewhere and I randomly have that feeling, I would hug them and tell them I love you xD and they're like... You're so dramatic lol. I guess they're used to it now ^^"
