Neon Genesis Evangelion. Because the characters struggled through emotional issues that were similar to some of the problems I faced growing up, it hit close to home.

Do you mind elaborating a little further? I'm thinking of writing an article for Yattatachi.com based on your replies! They are all fascinating!!!

I think I've said this before once, but definitely Clannad and Code Geass.
Also, Angel Beats made me sign up as donor.

Do you mind elaborating a little further? I was thinking about doing an article about people's replies for Yattatachi.com.

clannad made me think about life in general and how family function when normally i just watch one anime and go on to the next but i felt myself thinking about afterstory even when i finished it but as for exactly why i have no idea , i just found it emotional and touching i guess even if it killed my feels.

My Love Story!!
I identify with Takeo a lot, and I admire his strength both emotionally and physically. The finale was particularly touching.

Princess jellyfish-the anime shows how hard to venture out of your comfort zone in life especially for older people set in there ways or habits. The rewards of trying something new can open a door to an entire new world of possibilities but only for those risking defeat or depression of nothing happening. No Risk No Reward!

Paranoia Agent had me thinking pretty critically. I just really love how the show expressed how people try to deal with stress and compromising situations

By running away from your problems you end up shoving your responsibility on someone else and they can end up getting hurt. And no matter how far you run, eventually those problems will catch up with you... It's best to deal with your problems head on, even if they're difficult. Because more often than not, the longer you wait, the bigger that problem becomes. And you don't always have to face them alone either

For most of my life, I struggled depression. The way Shinji handled himself reminded me of my younger self. I thought I was not worth people’s time or effort; thus, I cut myself off from others. I felt that human interaction would only bring disappointment and pain. Additionally, at times I felt the need to prove that I was superior to someone else to validate my own existence, which is how Asuka hid her insecurities. Finally, the main theme of Neon Genesis Evangelion is that even though human interaction can be painful, it can also bring happiness. This theme was a life lesson that I struggled with for many years.

Fairy Tail. It's really clique but it hits me hard that there's such close friends like that who would do anything for each other and I'm over here like I have one friend who I don't even know if they like me.
