I just don't want to watch it because I am tired of watching series that give me them feel trains.

I've watched 3 in the past few months and one STILL has me f'd in the head. I don't do sad very well.

No show has come close to impacting on my life as much as clannad and afterstory, it will always have a special place at the top of my anime list and I can't recommend it enough. Its seriously worth it.

I remember watching this show, and I remember being bored. I can't remember how many episodes, but I remember watching more than enough to fairly call it boring. This is another one of those shows, that people not only recommend, but where they say "You have to sit through it, annoyed and/or bored, for days, until that one final episode at the very end", like they do School Days, and it just doesn't cut it as a recommendation, let alone a defense against how boring it is.

Different people have different tastes, by all means. I wouldn't dream of invalidating anyone's experience. If you loved Clannad, great! I hope you find more shows just like it in the future, honestly. But let's be fair here, and call it for what it is; a flavor more vanilla than vanilla; a flavor so vanilla, that vanilla seems exciting.

Clannad has made me want to get my hands on some old Beverly Hills 90210 episodes, because I remember how extremely uninteresting BH90210 was to me as a teenager. I would just like to compare how boring Clannad is to BH90210, so I can come back, and say "Wow, BH90210 is actually kind of interesting.... compared to Clannad." Because I feel like that would actually happen. I don't know why. I feel like I cannot express just how unimpressed, just how bored, just how deeply disappointed I was by Clannad and its recommendations.

Ps. Don't consider this a review, because it isn't. It's been far too long for me to effectively write a review. In fact, I don't even know how to write a decent review. This is just my honest experience of the show.

Plastic Memories? Major Spoiler if you plan to watch the show.

Me neither. I won't be able to watch it again for at least 3 months. I don't do sad so good either.

Fuuko Arc > *

That is all.

No, seriously. That is all. After watching Clannad + After Story, that is all. The rest is...ok, but Fuuko is the best out of all of it.

I never did like Nagisa all that much anyway.

I haven't seen it in a few years but still remember it being one of the few anime that managed to get to my emotions (especially After Story). Only issue is that there was no Tomoyo x Sunohara connection, though that isn't really a negative just something I wished for xD Think this still stands as my favorite Key work and a pretty high on my list of romances.
