If you thought male privilege was bad before well now we are making better "women" than females.

I have more of a problem with the fact it is Caitlyn Jenner more so than the winner being a transgender. This thread will get ugly, fast, because in some people's minds it reek of undue repulsiveness and bigotry.

Honestly, I'd be fine with this if she were a woman for at least a year. Its been like 4 months or something, right?

Edit: fixed # of months

I don't like it. But at the same time I don't really care cause I already know that these types of magazines will always chose some stupid person instead of someone actually contributing to something. Like come on there are so many women who actually do good, productive things, and they chose Caitlyn Jenner? Like I freaking swear.

Also person above makes a valid point if 'she' has not been a girl for the entirety of the year how can you name 'her' best woman of the year? Come on.

And what exactly did she do to deserve that?

From what I know, she had this urge since her adolescence, and some suggest that due to the social binary at the time she went with the sex she was assigned at birth despite these urges. Remember, sex changes weren't as advanced back. So one could say she was secretly a woman all this time, despite still having a penis. I mean, if you look at it this way, she still has a penis. Gender dysphoria and whatnot is so weird.

The big wigs at Glamour is male right? so does that mean men think they are best at everything, including being a women? Can a man truly be proud to have that title?

I think the whole thing is an example of how tolerant we've become.

I guess that's nice and all. Although, there are more deserving women out there that should have gotten that.
