Let me know if a thread like this one exist or not.
Thanks a bunches.

Explain your opinion in great detail. Does one become an adult when that person has a child and gets married? How does one define adulthood? When should you get married and start a family?

Tell me what you think.

I think you are an adult once you start supporting yourself. Have a job, your own place, or if you must live at home contribute equally.

Starting a family is a personal choice, it's not something you are required to do. I don't think you should have children until you can support them well.

Who the hell reported this?

Anyway, I don't think marriage and having children indicate greater maturity.

You're an adult when you're biologically not a teenager anymore. That's the simple way to put it.

You're mentally mature when you're responsible and considerate. Able to see from others' POV, basically, and to seriously consider other views beside your own.

Then an elderly person who hasn't had a family is not an adult yet?

That doesn't make sense

You should have used this question in the "what if" thread.

I believe one becomes an adult when they take on responsibilities that "adults" have such as paying bills, making your own money, etc. I do not believe getting married has anything to do with becoming an adult, or starting your own family for that matter. If that were the case, all the single adults in the world are not adults?

I also think you truly become an adult when have a more mature thought process. Of course, you can keep your "child like mind" but there are plenty of legal adults that do not take on these responsibilities or have a mature way of thinking.

Then you're paying child support.
