I used to be a frequent user of CR but since the beginning of this year when ever id try to watch anything on the CR website or app my video will stop for 1-3 minutes then start playing video for the next 5 seconds. The website and app both have no problem streaming commercials but once it tries to play the shows it fails miserably
On my pc I would have no struggles at all on any other streaming website
I would also not have any problems using any other apps on my mobile devices
Ive tried to suck it up and deal with it until it took 2 1/2 hours to watch 1 episode of a show that I rewatched later on another website with no problems at all.
This is one of the only websites with this large of a selection of anime it would be really awesome and very appreciated if someone could help me out

Problems I can think of:

1. Bad wifi
2. Close all apps when trying to use Crunchyroll app so they are not running in the background
3. You need to update Crunchyroll or your device is not updated there fore Crunchyroll is not working properly.
4. Make sure your computer doesn't have random programs running in the background (or downloads)
5. Lower the quality because your computer can't handle it.
6. Not on wifi? Poor 3G/4G
7. Wait a bit for it to load. Pause, go do some homework, come back and watch.
8. Your andriod and computer have a virus.
9. Clear tracking cookies, they make the browser slow.

Also, you have a lot of patience to take 2 and a half hours watching an episode. But I can't think of other reasons why it may not be working for you. I'm also not the best to give advice because I do not have ad problems. Hope something helps.

If its the android mobile app youre having the most difficulties with (like me) uninstall it. Afterwards google crunchyroll 1.1.4 apk and download that version (make sure your device is set to donload from unknown sources in the security menu of the device) and that should fix playback issues. I literally just did that and it worked. On the site I downloaded the older version from, i happened to look up the newer version as well to compare. 1.1.4 is 13 mb where the new version is a whole 15 almost 16 mb. Idk what updates they made, but all it did was slow everything down for me.
