Hi,

I've decided to try out crunchyroll again, and I really want to like it, but I'm having a lot of trouble with playback. While i'm watching shows the video stops and stutters every couple of seconds. I tried a different browser, but it's still happening. I also have pretty good internet, I can get almost 10MBytes (not bits) download speeds.

Also the sound is a fraction of a second off, just barely enough to be noticeable.

Is there any way to increase the amount it buffers, or to pre-buffer the entire episode maybe? The price for crunchyroll is WAY better than buying dvd sets, and I really want this to work, but it's really really frustrating.

thanks in advance for any help!

I hope you can find something useful at www.crunchyroll.com/help, but this is a problem a lot of people have and CR generally refuses to acknowledge. Most seem to believe it's insufficient bandwidth on CR's side. There have been dozens (if not hundreds) of people in different threads over the past couple of years who have gone far out of their way to demonstrate that there's nothing wrong with their connection or computer, but it would be more productive to spend time arguing with a brick wall.

Sorry, but the best I can really offer is "Keep trying at different times of day, it's not always this bad."

You know, that's a good point in that thread. I don't have that problem at all on youtube.

First of all are you using any sort of VPN? That could eat a bit of your bandwidth I believe.
I had a very similar issue while ago while staying at a hotel it would happen regardless of what time I tried to watch anything however since returning back home everything cleared up, despite my house actually having worse internet speed, maybe try different devices if you have any to see if the issue is coming from CR or your computer. If the problem is from CR there is little you could do on your end unfortunately.
