My opinion is that it's a fucking disgrace and should have been banned long ago for animal cruelty.

For the longest time I didn't know they killed them. I think it was when I saw The Book of Life that I asked my friend "why does he have to kill the bull?" and my friend was so surprised that I didn't know they actually killed them. Pretty naive, I know. >_<

Well, now that I know what actually goes on in a bull fight, I think it's really horrible.

I'm not keen on it. Granted, sometimes the bull gores the bull-fighter, but everything is usually much more in the bullfighter's favor.

I find it a bit cruel, but I'll withhold my tongue in case someone makes a convincing argument.

I really wouldn't call animal torture a ''unique cultural tradition''

Stabbing it a million times with spears all over its body for 20 minutes while constantly taunting it until its exhausted from blood loss and can't move anymore and then killing it.

Not to mention the fact that they're getting drugged before such fights.

I don't know if people are aware of this, but cultural traditions are quite capable of being barbaric at the same time. It's actually quite common.

I found bullfighting to be very exciting as a spectator. I fully approve of the tradition.

As a note; the bullfight I attended was in the Azores, they do not kill the bull.

I root for the bull.... not because of animal cruelty BS or whatever... simply because I enjoy seeing people maimed and killed more than animals.

Why am I the only one to post https://youtu.be/cpQuANISHEY?t=29s ?

Anything that involves making other people, or animals in this case, fight together for the entertainment of others is bad.

I don't like it and it is stupid.

I once heard a story of an orderly getting fired for "playing" with one of the intellectually disabled kids. I don't see how this is any different.

Exactly this.

Bullfight in Spain, my country, is cruel.

A bullfight is an uneven match between a man and a bull.

The bull always suffers and dies, no matter what.

The fighter, which is called Torero, has always adavantages which involves physical damages to the bull usually with spears, or barbed sticks. And he/she, the fighter, always has a sword to kill it.

It´s not a fight on equal terms.

I´m ashamed that something llike that is called "tradition" in my country.

Yes, It's terrible! I actually did the Camino De Santiago and passed a few bull fighting rings including one in Pamplona. I really enjoyed Spain and loved Pamplona but the bull rings always angered me when I seen them.

Spain is an awesome country to visit, it has a lot of interesting activities, and places to go. And the people is usually very friendly.

Ireland is beautiful. I went there for just 3 days so I only visited Dublin and some places nearby

It was verdant.... What I saw was so charming...
