what a sad, sad world you live in, brah....

Anyway, CR usually picks up what I want, so I have no complaints. My only compliant is Funi wants to 'branch out' thus they pick up stuff like Dance with Devils and StarMyu, but I can live without them as long as CR keeps getting shows like Haikyuu!!, Yuru Yuri, Monogatari and so on. Plus, Daisuki is not that bad and I'm actually not minding using their service at all to watch OPM and Gundam. Definitely prefer them over Funi, but I hate Funi so yeah, lmao.

Basically, your trash is my treasure, brah.

Do you actually have anything to say? This isn't /a/.

Should I even know what /a/ is?

Note: I apologize advance if this sounded offensive

Yea Yea I understand how you feel I really wanted too watch Failed Knight and Seraph of the End and overlord too
now if I really wanted too watch them I'll go watch them right now I dont care. sure I understand the ads who care 3-5 mins? so what? if you really are pissed off at the ads or really really wanted too see it by membership then cancel the membership dont let some site ruin your anime experience just because its not on CR doesn't mean its not on the internet. im sorry I dont know a much for hulu I think you have too by membership too watch anything on hulu but I really dont know. but even then its only what 9 dollors a mouth that not bad you can also cancel anytime like i said before. anyways thats just my thoughts just dont blame Cr there trying there at least trying personally I love the anime we have its not much but not too little its just right but that me.

I listen to them! Since it's an idol show I consider it part of the draw. So far I've liked the teacher's and Tooru's songs the most. What about you?

I was wondering what genre you would call this show. When I first watch I was thinking yaoi without sex but idol makes more sense. Its kinda different not a single female not even on faculty. I really like MC because he is so excepting and genuine plus he tries so hard he has a infectious attitude which is good for a team. The character who picked the team I like him and his song the best he thinks outside the typical box if that makes sense?

If Crunchyroll doesn't have what you want then go to another site that does.

Yeah. One day I won't be surprised anymore.

It really depends on the fansub, anyway. There are not-good fansubs, too.

But anyway, OP--if you don't like their programming then you should tell them directly. Forum rants do not effect change.

I have had an active paid subscription since May 2013. And for the first time I have a major complaint and am seriously considering canceling my paid subscription.

Crunchyroll's lineup has gradually been shifting more toward licensing anime shows that I as a 32 year old male have absolutely no interest in watching.

Where is One Punch Man? Overlord? Seraph of the End? Chivalry of a Failed Knight? Clearly I should have chosen a paid Hulu subscription because that is where all the shows I wanted to watch this fall are at.

I've seen a disturbing trend where Crunchyroll is licensing more and more pervy crap (mostly featuring lolis), to the point Anime De Training! Ex and Makuranodanshi is now on the service. And before that

I watch anime because I am a huge fan of science fiction and fantasy, and Japan happens to produce some very high quality fantasy and sci-fi stories. But for the past year it seems there hasn't been a single one of these series which hasn't been on Hulu at the same time it is on Crunchyroll, but Hulu would have shows Crunchyroll didn't show -- meanwhile Crunchyroll licensed Bottom Biting Bug, Wooser's Hand to Mouth Life and slice of life loli shows like Non Non Biyori and softcore porn harem shows like Life With Monster Girls.

To re-iterate my complaint is not the Crunchyroll has these shows, but that it has these shows at the expense of not having the sci fi / fantasy shows that I would have expected Crunchyroll to carry.

1. As others have pointed out. It is a licensing game and sometimes CR loses. This season was not great for them. But, overall I would say this season is the worst for anime in several years.

2. If you don't like what CR has to offer, you can stop subscribing. I suggest you at least give them feedback as to why. This should be a last resort as CR is a great resource. I don't just subscribe for the anime, I also read the manga and watch some of the live action shows. Don't forget your subscription also supports the back catalog shows, the news service, and the forums.

3. Consider subscribing to one or more of the services that do carry things you want to watch.

4. Before you write off Non Non Biyori, give it a shot. I have never noticed any sexualization in the show. It is just cute kids doing cute and funny stuff.

BTW, I do feel your pain. I'm also a huge SF and fantasy fan. Part of the problem is that the studios in Japan want more money for these shows. So Hulu gets Gundam first. They also get Chivalry of a Failed Knight and One Punch Man exclusively.

I'm just hoping they can do something about the Macross rights situation. That way I can hopefully watch Macross Delta legally here in the USA when it starts airing.

Huh? There's a shortage of things to enjoy here?

Recently, CR's got Parasyte, Shigatsu, Shokugeki, DanMachi, GATE, Charlotte. Monogatari series is an ongoing series on here.

That's not a bad selection of recent popular stuff.

All those shows are available on Hulu as well, at the same time they were available on Crunchyroll. That is my point here.

Why pay for an anime specific subscription if only 3-4 watchable new shows are going to be available, and the other stuff is going to be essentially fetish shows or very clearly meant for grade schoolers.

And yes I do regard some of these slice of life comedies featuring 6-10 year old girls going about their normal, boring lives to be a kind of fetish anime. I believe it's called moe.

You can call me whatever you want, at least I'm not trying to defend the entertainment value of a show where episodes are literally only about preteens taking off their clothes to do pushups in their room. http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-de-training-ex/episode-2-more-push-ups-for-bigger-bra-size-687197

Out of all the thousands of titles out there which have never been licensed, who can honestly say that a show like this should be on Crunchyroll?
